Lake is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

Lake, who was just called up Monday, will get the start in left field in place of Chris Coghlan with a left-hander on the mound for the Pirates. Lake will hit sixth in the Cubs' batting order against the Pirates' Jeff Locke.

The outfielder is hitting just .243/.274/.428 but has spent most of the year hitting in a prime spot ahead of Anthony Rizzo in the Cubs' lineup. He's a frustrating player to own, but Lake's power-speed combo makes him a viable option in NL-only leagues.

Still, he's only a starter until someone better comes along.

Lake mostly started against left-handers at the beginning of the season, but injuries have expanded his role and he's been hitting righties better than lefties anyway. He's the Cubs' best outfielder for fantasy purposes right now, though that's not saying a whole lot.
