Kevin Slowey pitched five scoreless innings against the Braves in his return to the rotation on Monday.

Slowey is no lock to remain in the rotation after the All-Star break, but he did help his case tonight. With his plus WHIP and solid strikeout rate, he can be a decent NL-only pitcher if he sticks.

As well as he's pitched, poor offensive support means he'll head into Thursday's start against the Cubs still in search of his first victory. He's starting to be worth a look as a matchup play in deeper mixed leagues.
