Mon Apr 25 202218:20Bryson Stott Optioned To Triple-A
The Philadelphia Phillies optioned infielder Bryson Stott to Triple-A on Monday. In a corresponding move, the team selected the contract of outfielder Roman Quinn. Stott is currently ranked as the team's No. 1 overall prospect by MLB Pipeline. The 24-year-old saw his first taste of the majors this year and struggled quite a bit at the plate. Over nine games, he went just 4-for-30 with 10 strikeouts and only one extra-base hit (a double). Alec Bohm has secured the starting third base job with his hot start to the year, so it certainly makes sense for Stott to head back to Triple-A where he'll see more consistent playing time.

Mon Apr 11 202214:47Bryson Stott Isn't In Monday's Lineup
Philadelphia Phillies infielder Bryson Stott will be on the bench for Monday's game against the New York Mets. The Phillies will go with Didi Gregorius at shortstop and Alec Bohm at third base for a matchup with the New York Mets and right-hander Taijuan Walker. Gregorius is batting sixth while Bohm will hit eighth. You're probably best off looking elsewhere for streaming help at both positions on Monday. Gregorius has one hit and three strikeouts so far in eight plate appearances during the 2022 season. Meanwhile, Bohm has two hits and a walk in three plate appearances so far this year but is coming off a down season in 2021 in which he hit just .247 with seven home runs, four stolen bases, and a .305 on-base percentage in 417 plate appearances.

Fri Apr 8 202211:38Bryson Stott Will Make MLB Debut On Friday
Philadelphia Phillies infielder Bryson Stott is expected to make his MLB debut against the Oakland Athletics on Friday. He'll bat eighth and play third base versus right-hander Frankie Montas. It sounds like Stott and Alec Bohm are going to share playing time at third base this season. The Phillies are high on Stott after he nearly hit .300 in the minor leagues last season. He is certainly someone to keep an eye on early in the season.
