Sun Sep 19 202115:35LaMonte Wade Jr. Absent From Sunday's Lineup
San Francisco Giants first baseman/outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against Max Fried and the Atlanta Braves, according to MLB.com. Wade Jr. has come out of nowhere to put up a very productive season for the division-leading Giants, slashing .262/.340/.517 with 18 HRs and six stolen bases over 97 games. He's struggled mightily against lefties this season, though, with a .366 OPS and will take a seat on the bench. Darin Ruf will get the start in the outfield and bat leadoff. Ruf has been a nice bench option this season, slashing .272/.392/.520 with 15 HRs in 113 games, and he has a 1.034 OPS off of lefties this season. He should be streamed in every league if available on the waiver wire.

Mon Aug 30 202100:47LaMonte Wade Jr. Doubles, Steals Base Sunday
San Francisco Giants first baseman/outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. was the only Giants player to find offensive success in Sunday's 9-0 loss to the Braves, going 2-for-4 with a single, a double, and a stolen base. The 27-year-old has had a nice season overall, slashing .249/.317/.514 with 17 home runs, 43 RBI, and five stolen bases. He is a useful fantasy player in deep leagues, but his relatively cold August makes him dispensable in shallower leagues, given what fantasy managers can find on the waiver wire.

Wed Jul 28 202120:57LaMonte Wade Jr. Absent From Wednesday’s Lineup
San Francisco Giants' first baseman/outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (leg) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He exited Tuesday's game early with a right lower leg contusion. The 27-year-old is considered day-to-day. It's terrible timing for Wade, who was locked in at the plate, hitting a robust .318 (7-for-22) with three homers, six RBI, and one stolen base over his last five games. Darin Ruf is batting sixth and will handle first base duties while Wade is sidelined. Ruf is not a recommended streamer against Dodgers ace Walker Buehlerand is a desperation play only in deep-league formats.
