Cubs signed INF Scott Moore to a minor league contract.
Moore made his major league debut with the Cubs in 2006 after coming over from the Tigers in the Kyle Farnsworth trade. Now 27 years old, Moore batted .209/.274/.337 with three home runs and 10 RBI over 96 plate appearances with the Orioles this past season. He'll compete for a job as a utility infielder during spring training.

According to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun, infielder Scott Moore has agreed to a minor league deal with the Cubs.
Moore, who turns 27 on Wednesday, made his major league debut with the Cubs in 2006 before being flipped to the Orioles in the Steve Trachsel trade in 2007. He batted .280/.345/.476 with 11 homers and 45 RBI in 225 at-bats with Triple-A Norfolk this past season while playing all around the infield.

Orioles designated infielder Scott Moore for assignment.
Moore hit .209/.274/.337 with three homers in 86 at-bats during his two months in the majors. He's probably a bit better than that in truth, but since he's not much of an asset defensively at second or third, he should clear waivers.
Wed Jun 16 201014:48O's scratch Scott Moore from lineup
Scott Moore was a late scratch from Wednesday's game against the Giants after rolling his right ankle during batting practice.
He was replaced in the lineup by Julio Lugo. It is not yet known whether the injury will require a stint on the disabled list.
