Justin Sellers went 0-for-2 and committed two errors at shortstop before being removed for a pinch-hitter on Tuesday.
Sellers is in there for his glove, so more nights like this could get him exiled back to the minors very quickly. Manager Don Mattingly indicated that he planned to stick with Sellers for now.

Sun Mar 31 201308:23Justin Sellers to start at SS for Dodgers
Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said starting Justin Sellers at shortstop and Luis Cruz at third base would be "pretty much a regular thing."
They had been expected to go with Cruz at short and a host of players at third while Hanley Ramirez is out, but they've decided to keep Cruz at the hot corner. Sellers is a career .204/.283/.323 hitter without much power or speed, so he offers next to nothing for fantasy owners.

Fri Mar 29 201322:07Justin Sellers could open as Dodgers SS
Dodgers manager Don Mattingly hinted Friday that Justin Sellers could begin the season as the Dodgers starting shortstop.
Despite the fact that he was optioned to Triple-A a few weeks ago, the injury to Hanley Ramirez has surely changed things for the Dodgers. Sellers has shown a large platoon split in his major league career, and should be utilized against all left-handed pitching at a minimum. Luis Cruz would remain the starter at third base if Sellers opens at shortstop.

Justin Sellers told reporters that his January arrest for reckless motorcycle driving was a "misunderstanding."
Sellers has taken several ride-alongs with the West Sacramento police and thought he was the subject of a park when a patrol car began trailing his motorcycle closely. "I kept hoping it was my buddy or some of the guys I met, so I just continued home," he said. He was eventually arrested for driving recklessly and then fleeing, and has a court date in March.

Sat Jan 19 201323:15Justin Sellers arrested for reckless driving
Dodgers infielder Justin Sellers was arrested in West Sacramento on Saturday for reckless driving.
Sellers was caught doing "wheelies" on his motorcycle, and when police tried to pull him over, Sellers took off. After a short chase ensued though, he did turn himself in. This shouldn't do anything to hurt his chances of making the Dodgers as a reserve infielder.

Sellers was diagnosed with a bulging disk in his lower back Thursday. Anti-inflammatory medication and strengthening exercises should have him able to return in the minimum 15 days.
