In place of an injured David Hawthorne (ankle), Humber made 12 tackles (seven solo) and a sack in Sunday's loss to the 49ers.
Humber doesn't offer much in coverage, but he's a big guy who excels at stopping the run. With the 49ers running the ball as often as they passed on Sunday, Humber posted a double-digit tackles, and the sack was the cherry on top of a surprising day for those who relied on him in IDP leagues. If Hawthorne is forced to miss additional time, Humber could again post decent numbers against a run-oriented Bengals' offense in Week 11.

Starting in place of the injured David Hawthorne, Humber made three tackles (all solo) in Sunday's win against the Vikings.
From an IDP standpoint, it was an uninspiring performance, though the Saints' defense as a whole performed admirably in holding Minnesota to only nine points. If Hawthorne misses any further time, Humber will likely continue to start, though the career backup is merely an average IDP option, at best.

Humber could have some IDP value as a spot-starter in place of the injured Hawthorne, who's dealing with a balky hamstring. In three starts last season, Humber made 14 total tackles.
