The Seahawks signed Allen off the Vikings' practice squad Tuesday, John Boyle of the Everett Herald reports.

The undrafted rookie tight end played in one game with the Seahawks earlier this season and will be welcomed back with Luke Willson suffering an ankle injury in Week 10. Zach Miller (ankle) is also injured, but Allen figures to merely provide depth in the weeks ahead.
