That could probably be gleaned from the fact that Lawson is having surgery in Charlotte, rather than flying back to Detroit with the team. With Bill Bentley (torn ACL) placed on injured reserve after Week 1, Lawson entered Sunday's game against the Panthers as the nickel corner. Already thin at cornerback, the Lions will need to peruse the free-agent wire, which doesn't offer much at the position right now. |
