Bills coach Doug Marrone told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport he believes seventh-round LT Seantral Henderson "can be special."

A former top high school recruit, Henderson had an up-and-down career at Miami and fell to the seventh round due to off-field issues. With Cordy Glenn's (illness, NFI) health status up in the air, he's a candidate to be a Week 1 starter. Henderson is making a case to be the Bills' left tackle of the future, with Glenn eventually moving to guard.

With Cordy Glenn sitting out minicamp, Henderson was used at left tackle, with Cyrus Kouandjio and Erik Pears splitting reps on the right side. It's a good sign that the Bills are willing to give Henderson an extended look this early, and he should make the final roster as long as he keeps his head on straight. Chris Hairston is ahead of Henderson on the depth chart and would likely start at left tackle if Glenn were to miss time in the regular season.
