Reaser (knee) will begin the year on the non-football injury list, CSN Bay Area reports.

Like many of the 49ers' recent draft picks, Reaser was an injury project that won't be ready for the beginning of the 2014 season. He is eligible to return as early as week 7, but there is no guarantee he will be ready by then.
