It looked like Wilson might return to action this week, but he is apparently not yet ready.

Wilson (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears.
Wilson practiced in a limited fashion all week, though with just three catches for 25 yards in three games thus far this season, he's only an option in the deepest fantasy formats.
Wed Oct 7 201518:47Wilson (shoulder) limited at practice Wednesday
Wilson (shoulder) was limited at practice Wednesday.
It remains to be seen if Wilson will be a go Sunday against the Bears, but if he does return to action, it's possible that he could lose some snaps to Chris Conley, who filled in for Wilson in Week 4.

Wilson (shoulder) is officially inactive for Sunday's game at Cincinnati.
With only three catches on the season so far, this isn't really a big blow for the Chiefs. Look for Chris Conley to maybe get a few more looks in this game.

Wilson -- who was a limited practice participant all week -- is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, the Kansas City Star reports.
Wilson has just three catches for 25 yards to date, so he's off the fantasy radar in most formats, but if he is out or limited Sunday, look for Chris Conley to see added playing time in Week 4.
Tue Sep 29 201513:08Wilson held without catch in Monday's game against Packers
Wilson was held without a catch in Monday's game against the Packers.
Wilson was targeted just once when he wasn't looking, and was actually outsnapped in the contest by both the rookie Chris Conley and veteran Jason Avant. Even if Wilson does receive the start, he can't really be relied upon given his statline of just three catches for 25 yards through three weeks this season.
Fri Sep 18 201501:39Wilson only drew one target in Thursday's 31-24 loss to Broncos
Wilson only drew one target in Thursday's 31-24 loss to the Broncos.
With four targets and three receptions through two games, Wilson has unsurprisingly been a bit player in the passing game, even though he's starting and getting plenty of snaps. As expected, the Kansas City offense is heavily centered around Jamaal Charles, Travis Kelce and Jeremy Maclin.

Wilson (shoulder) is listed as active for Thursday's game against the Broncos.
Wilson, who is listed as a starter by the Chiefs opposite Jeremy Maclin, is generally only an option in deeper fantasy formats, with Maclin and TE Travis Kelce representing the team's upside plays among its pass-catchers. In Week 1, Wilson caught all three of his targets for 25 yards.
Wed Sep 16 201518:21Wilson (shoulder) officially probable for Thursday's game agains...
Wilson (shoulder) is officially probable for Thursday's game against the Broncos.
Wilson practiced in full all week, so it seems likely that he'l be good to go for Week 2. Assuming he's active, the second-year wideout should once again start opposite Jeremy Maclin, but he remains third at best on the totem pole for receptions behind Maclin and tight end Travis Kelce.
Mon Sep 14 201523:53Wilson (shoulder) practiced in full Monday
Wilson (shoulder) practiced in full Monday, Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star reports.
As he was last week, Wilson is brushing off a shoulder concern to log a full practice. While he's on pace to take on the Broncos on Thursday, he's a rung below Jeremy Maclin, Travis Kelce, and Jamaal Charles in the Chiefs' passing attack.

Wilson caught three passes for 25 yards on three targets in Sunday's win over the Texans.
Although it was never officially announced that Wilson would start opposite Jeremy Maclin, he appeared the favorite to do so. He was definitely utilized as the No. 2 wideout, taking 81 percent of offensive snaps (57) to Jason Avant's 11 snaps and Chris Conley's five snaps. Considering the lack of snaps for the others, it's definitely significant that Wilson holds the second spot for the time being. He didn't really do much overall, but he didn't make any glaring mistakes either.
Sun Sep 13 201511:47Wilson (shoulder) active for Sunday's game at Houston
Wilson (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game at Houston.
Wilson is presumed to be the probable starter opposite Jeremy Maclin, but the Chiefs have as many as five wide receivers who are likely to play in this game, so it will be interesting to see how they spread the ball around.
Fri Sep 11 201520:58Wilson (shoulder) full participant again in practice Friday and ...
Wilson (shoulder) was a full participant again in practice Friday and is officially probable for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Wilson's full participation at practice all week combined with the probable tag more than likely signifies that he will suit up Sunday. Assuming that's the case, he will likely need to compete with rookie Chris Conley for snaps opposite Jeremy Maclin, but Wilson seems the probable candidate to get the first crack given his history with the club.
Wed Sep 9 201518:30Wilson (probable) full participant in Wednesday's practice
Wilson (probable) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Wilson entered camp the favorite to earn the starting spot but injuries and his performance when healthy did nothing to separate him from the rest of the field. While he'll likely receive snaps on Sunday, the situation remains a bit cloudy behind clear No. 1 Jeremy Maclin heading into the Chiefs' Week 1 matchup with the Texans.

Wilson (shoulder) didn't play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Rams, the Kansas City Star reports.
Even if Wilson was healthy, he probably wouldn't have played Thursday, but his status remains somewhat in question heading into Week 1. While he likely remains the top candidate to start opposite Jeremy Maclin when healthy, rookie Chris Conley could make the decision tougher if Wilson misses regular season time and he plays well.

Wilson suffered an AC sprain in his shoulder Friday and the injury is considered minor, the Kansas City Star's Terez Paylor reports.
The Chiefs may opt to hold Wilson out of Thursday's preseason finale, but it does not sound like he is in danger of missing the first game of the regular season.

Wilson exited Friday's preseason game in the first quarter with a shoulder injury, and is questionable to return.
Wilson made a nice catch and run on the play, but landed a little hard on his shoulder. The fact that he's even questionable to return to the game likely indicates the issue isn't too serious in nature, but it's worth monitoring the situation over the next few days to ensure nothing more serious comes of it. When healthy, the second-year wideout remains the favorite to start opposite Jeremy Maclin come Week 1, but hasn't impressed enough to lock the spot down at this point.
Tue Aug 25 201521:45Wilson without target in Chiefs' second preseason game against S...
Wilson went without a target in the Chiefs' second preseason game against the Seahawks.
Despite receiving 23 offensive snaps, Wilson didn't impact the game in any fashion. He's likely still the favorite to start opposite Jeremy Maclin come Week 1, but the Chiefs are expected to give rookie Chris Conley a big audition in the third game Friday. If Wilson doesn't pick it up a bit, it's possible he'll be struggling to find the field on Sundays.

Wilson snagged two passes for 15 yards in Saturday's preseason opener against the Cardinals.
The favorite to start alongside Maclin, Wilson saw the field for just 15 offensive snaps in Saturday's preseason contest, so the two receptions on two targets for 15 yards isn't really too shabby. He only played in the first quarter with the rest of the starters, which is the most significant sign of where he stands. While the offense wasn't particularly efficient, there's still three more preseason games left to sort things out.

Wilson (hamstring) enters camp penciled in as the favorite to start alongside Jeremy Maclin at wide receiver, ESPN reports.
Wilson missed much of minicamp due to a hamstring issue, but it seems likely he'll be fine for the start of training camp with over a month of rest in. Assuming he's good to go, the second-year wideout will need to stave off rookie Chris Conley to remain in the role he excelled in at the end of the 2014 campaign.
