Hurns caught five of his seven targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's game versus Tampa Bay.
The second-year wideout tied his career-high in receiving yards, which he set last week and he reached the end zone for the third game running. Quarterback Blake Bortles set a season-high in yardage on Sunday, and Hurns' usage could stand to benefit even more if the Jaguars lean more on the passing game, with tailback T.J. Yeldon sustaining a groin injury. Jacksonville will host the Texans in Week 6.

Hurns (ankle/thigh) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bucs.
Hurns and Allen Robinson are in line to head the Jags' Week 5 wideout corps, with Marqise Lee out again. Hurns figures to remain heavily involved in the team's passing attack Sunday, but it will be hard for him to match his season-high Week 4 output of 11 catches for 116 yards on 15 targets.

Hurns (ankle) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
Hurns did not practice Wednesday, but he was able to practice on a limited basis Thursday, and appears good to go for Week 5 after getting in a full practice Friday. He was heavily involved in the Jaguars' offense last week, tallying 15 targets and the team's lone touchdown.

Hurns (ankle/thigh) returned to practice Thursday.
It remains to be seen if the Jaguars list Hurns as a limited or full participant, but the wideout's presence at practice, in any capacity Thursday, bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Hurns missed practice Wednesday.
Hurns was on the injury report last week with a thigh injury, but he was active Sunday against the Colts and finished with 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown. He's on this week's report with an ankle issue, and at this point his status for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay is unclear.

Hurns caught 11 passes off of 15 targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Indianapolis.
Hurns doubled his target total for the season on Sunday and set career highs in yards and catches. Despite going undrafted in last year's draft, Hurns has developed a strong connection with quarterback Blake Bortles, one fantasy owners may be wise to leverage. Sunday was Hurns' 10th game with at least four receptions since the beginning of 2014. Though another Allen, Robinson, is the go-to target in Jacksonville, Hurns showed on Sunday that he is a constant threat to go off and have a big game.
Fri Oct 2 201515:58Hurns (thigh) full participant at Friday's practice
Hurns (thigh) was a full participant at Friday's practice.
After being limited throughout the week, Hurns put in a full day of work Friday and is listed as "probable" for Sunday's matchup with the Colts. Barring a setback, he'll be on the field starting opposite Allen Robinson.
Thu Oct 1 201516:24Hurns (thigh) limited at practice again Thursday
Hurns (thigh) was limited at practice again Thursday.
While back-to-back limited sessions make Hurns' Week 4 status worth tracking, fellow wideout Marqise Lee -- who has yet to practice this week -- looks the Jags' pass-catcher more likely to sit out Sunday's contest against the Colts.
Wed Sep 30 201517:11Hurns (thigh) limited participant at Wednesday's practice
Hurns (thigh) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.
Limited for the third straight day, Hurns' status for Sunday's matchup with Indianapolis may be in jeopardy. However, it's worth noting that Hurns was limited for most of last week as well, and he ended up catching a touchdown pass in the Jags' blowout loss to the Patriots.

Hurns nabbed two passes off of four targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's
Despite seeing half the targets, Hurns is tied with Allen Robinson for a team-leading 11 receptions in 2015. He ranks second on the team with 198 receiving yards. Being the second or third option in a low-efficiency passing offense usually isn't a recipe for a quality fantasy receiver, but don't forget that Hurns led the team in touchdown receptions last season with six. He could be a valuable addition once bye weeks come into play.

Hurns (thigh) is listed as active for Sunday's contest against the Patriots.
Allen Robinson and Hurns are thus in line to head the Jags' Week 3 wideout corps, with Marqise Lee on hand to serve as the team's No. 3 wideout. Through the team's first two games, Hurns has caught 9-of-11 targets for 128 yards, numbers that put him on the radar in deeper formats.

Hurns (thigh) was limited at Friday's practice, but he's listed as probable to play Sunday against New England.
Hurns was limited for the second day in a row, but the ailment does not appear to be anything the team's medical staff is overly worried about. Barring a setback, expect Hurns to line up opposite No. 1 receiver Allen Robinson on Sunday.
Thu Sep 24 201513:49Hurns (thigh) limited during Thursday's practice
Hurns (thigh) was limited during Thursday's practice, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.
This is the first we're hearing of the issue, and it's possible the team was simply being cautious with Hurns as Sunday's matchup with the 2-0 Patriots approaches. A more definitive update should be available Friday, but for now consider Hurns questionable. He's hauled in nine passes (on 11 targets) for 128 yards through the first two weeks of the season.

Hurns caught all four of his targets for 68 yards in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.
Hurns played second fiddle to Allen Robinson, who caught six passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns Sunday. Hurns does appear to be ahead of fellow second-yard wideout Marqise Lee (hamstring), who had just two catches for 27 yards. In Week 3, Hurns should have some opportunities because the Jaguars might be playing from behind at New England.

Hurns reeled in five of his seven targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 20-9 loss to the Panthers.
The second-year receiver benefited from the lack of options on the outside, as he posted the highest receiving yardage total on the team and was the second most targeted Jaguar. Hurns could be in line to play an expanded role this season after flashing his potential in 2014, but some lean weeks are likely for the less than potent Jaguars offense, which will face another tough matchup against Miami in Week 2.

Hurns (hip) is not listed on the Jaguars' Week 1 practice participation/Injury report.
With Marqise Lee iffy for Week 1, Allen Robinson and Hurns are on track to serve as the Jags' top wideouts in Sunday's regular season opener against the Panthers.
Fri Aug 28 201521:54Allen Hurns: (Hip) Removed As A Precaution
Hurns left Friday's game with hip tightness and will not return, Jaguars.com's John Oehser reports.
The move is considered precautionary by the team, so it does not sound like his availability for the start of the regular season is in jeopardy. Hurns was excellent prior to his departure, hauling in four catches for 42 yards and a touchdown, while displaying a good report with Blake Bortles. Allen Robinson is receiving a lot of attention in drafts as the top Jaguars pass catcher, but Hurns appears in line to have a productive season in his own right.

Hurns (knee) caught 1-of-2 targets for nine yards in Friday's preseason opener against the Steelers.
Hurns returned to practice last Saturday and got the start in Friday's game. With Marqise Lee (hamstring) in danger of missing most or all of the preseason, Hurns has emerged as the clear favorite to start alongside Allen Robinson, which could carry added importance this season. The Jaguars largely relied on three-wide sets last season, but they may go with more two-tight end formations this year to keep both Julius Thomas (finger) and Marcedes Lewis on the field. Jacksonville had two or three tight ends on the field for 20 of Blake Bortles' 29 snaps Friday night, according to the Florida-Times Union.
Sat Aug 8 201518:44Hurns (knee) returned to practice Saturday
Hurns (knee) returned to practice Saturday, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.
After "knee soreness" forced his absence from drills Friday, Hurns was back on the practice field Saturday. His activity level is unknown, but he's among the Jaguars' Top 3 wide receivers, when healthy.
Fri Aug 7 201512:01Hurns (knee) held out of Friday's practice
Hurns (knee) was held out of Friday's practice.
Hurns is listed on the report as battling "knee soreness," so a lengthy absence is not anticipated. The team hopes to have him back on the field Saturday.
