Bailey was waved Saturday to make room for Kam Chancellor.

After seeing 60 snaps in Week 1's contest against the Rams, Bailey was replaced by DeShawn Snead in last Sunday's game against the Packers. Neither safety performed overly well during their time in the starting lineup, but it was Bailey who drew the short end of the stick with the return of Chancellor. It remains to be seen where Bailey will wind up next, but a return to Seattle's practice squad is not out of the question.

Bailey will start at strong safety in the season opener Sunday against the Rams as Kam Chancellor's holdout continues into its sixth week.

Bailey was a practice squad player last season and won the job in lieu of Chancellor is camp. He's no Kam Chancellor, however.
