Woods' teammate Sammy Watkins (calf) will not play Sunday against the Titans.
Watkins didn't play last week wither and Woods put up a very modest 3/33/0 line on five targets, though we feel that's probably about his floor in a game where he'll likely see the field on 100 percent of the offensive snaps. In deep leagues, he could be a decent sneaky play if you're hurting with byes or injuries.

Woods had three catches on five targets for 33 yards Sunday against the Giants.
Woods was expected to get more balls thrown his way with Sammy Watkins (calf) out, but quarterback Tyrod Taylor spread his passes around, throwing at least four times to five different players, led by tight end Charles Clay's 13 targets. Woods has now failed to reach 40 receiving yards in three of four games this season, and with a season-high of 60, a fantasy breakout seems unlikely.

Woods' teammate Sammy Watkins (calf) has been officially ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Woods has had to share the gridiron with Percy Harvin for the first three weeks while Watkins sees the field nearly every play, so expect a boost in offensive plays for Woods this week. He could be a sneaky play in deeper leagues as, for once, several of the league's other stadiums struggle with weather issues while Buffalo is expected to have a somewhat comfortable day.

Woods caught all three of his targets for 60 yards in Sunday's win over the Colts. He also scored his first touchdown of the season, a 32-yarder from Tyrod Taylor. Woods saw the field for 53 of 72 offensive plays, The Buffalo News reports.
That's a lot better than the surprisingly low 28 plays Woods saw on offense in Week 1. Meanwhile, Percy Harvin continues to see more time than Woods, as Harvin was on the field for 59 scrimmage plays, while Chris Hogan saw just 11 offensive plays.

Woods caught both of his two targets for 27 yards in Sunday's win over the Colts. He saw the field for 28 of 59 offensive plays, The Buffalo News reports.
This isn't a good development at all, as Woods was on the field most of the time last season yet in Week 1 didn't even get to a 50 percent play count. Meanwhile, Percy Harvin received 37 offensive snaps. We'll keep tracking this, but given that the Buffalo offense has a lot of mouths to feed, Woods will need to see his play count rise up in the coming weeks to have value.

Woods (hip) and Percy Harvin (hip) are listed as co-starters on the Bills' initial regular-season depth chart, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
Boasting very different skillsets, Woods and Harvin should both have significant roles in the offense, but it's still quite unclear which player will see more snaps and/or targets. With the Bills likely to focus on their running game and Sammy Watkins, expectations for both Woods and Harvin should be kept in check. Despite the slew of late-preseason injuries, it looks like the Bills will have all the key members of their receiving corps for Week 1 against the Colts. Woods returned to practice Friday, just a few days after Harvin and Watkins did the same.
Sat Sep 5 201518:52Woods back at practice Friday
Woods, who sat out the Bills' preseason finale due to a hip issue, was back at practice Friday, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Woods should definitely be good for the start of the season, with the bigger question being who sees more time on the field - him or fellow No. 2/No. 3 wideout Percy Harvin.
Tue Sep 1 201514:05Woods (hip) remains limited at practice
Woods (hip) remains limited at practice, WGR 550 reports.
Percy Harvin and Sammy Watkins, who are also dealing with hip injuries, progressed to running routes at full speed Tuesday morning. Woods, on the other hand, was limited to catching passes from a jugs machine, and he was moving around at a noticeably slower pace than his position-mates. Woods and Harvin are competing for snaps in what will likely be a run-heavy offense, even more so now that fleet-footed Tyrod Taylor has been named as the starting quarterback.

Woods (hip) took part in individual drills on Thursday ESPN.com reports.
That said, the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle notes that Woods, along with fellow wideouts Sammy Watkins and Percy Harvin are all expected to sit out Saturday's preseason contest against the Steelers.
Sun Aug 23 201519:12Woods (leg/hip) limited at Sunday's practice
Woods (leg/hip) was limited at Sunday's practice, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
Woods returned to practice Saturday but is apparently still dealing with some muscle tightness. It isn't believed to be a serious issue, so he may be able to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers. Percy Harvin (hip), who is competing with Woods for a starting job, also hopes to play Saturday.
Sat Aug 22 201510:06Woods (muscle tightness) returned to practice Saturday
Woods (muscle tightness) returned to practice Saturday, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
Woods' injury was never thought to be serious, and now he'll have a chance to cement the No. 2 receiving role, a challenge that gets a little easier if Percy Harvin's hip injury lingers.

Woods (undisclosed) won't play Thursday at Cleveland, the Bills' official site reports.
Woods emerged from Monday's practice with muscle tightness, which has held him out in the interim. With Sammy Watkins (glute) and Percy Harvin (hip) also sidelined Thursday, the Bills' receiving corps will be led by tight end Charles Clay as well as wideouts Chris Hogan (illness) and Marquise Goodwin.

Woods did not practice Tuesday after experiencing muscle tightness following Monday's practice, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Woods reportedly had to do some extra work Monday with several of his receiver teammates going down. He paid a bit of a price for it, though it sounds like he'll be fine in a day or two. The coaching staff has had many positive things to say about the third-year wideout's performance in camp so far.

Woods has been making a strong impression at training camp by constantly getting open and having a good rapport with both EJ Manuel and Matt Cassel, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Woods is entering his third pro season, a time when many receivers take a nice leap in production. While not a speedster, he has a good all-around game and was a heavy target last season whenever Sammy Watkins was being double covered. The one thing we don't like is that the Bills may not have enough footballs to go around on offense - one that will be helmed by one of the lower tier starting quarterbacks in the league - with Woods, Watkins, Percy Harvin, Charles Clay, LeSean McCoy, and Fred Jackson all in the mix.

Woods has a new teammate in the mix for the passing game this season, as the Bills signed Percy Harvin to a one-year deal Friday.
We'll have to see if the Bills envision Harvin pushing Woods out of a starting job, or perhaps more likely Harvin could be a do-everything jack of all trades, being used prominently in the return game, the slot, and for some rushes. Either way, Woods' 2015 value likely took a slight hit today with one more talented mouth to feed in the offense.

Woods finished the 2014 season with 65 catches on 104 targets for 699 yards and five touchdowns.
While the yardage wasn't worth it in most formats, Woods did take a nice jump in catches from his 2013 rookie season, when he put up a 40-587-3 line. The Bills don't have a first-round pick in 2015 and have bigger needs than wide receiver, so it seems they might be OK with going into the 2015 season with Woods and Sammy Watkins as the two starters and Chris Hogan as the No. 3. The only issue is if new cooridnator Greg Roman has his heart set on someone else, but for now we're preparing for Woods to be a starter when he enters his third season, with a decent chance of making a jump in yards and touchdowns if the Bills can get some decent quarterbacking.

Woods had seven catches for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Raiders. He was targeted nine times.
Woods was having a very quiet day until Kyle Orton found him for a 30-yard touchdown with 1:09 left in a Buffalo rally that ultimately fell short. His quiet December (averaging just 36.7 yards per game) continues.

Woods caught just two balls on five targets for 22 yards in Sunday's win over the Packers.
As good as Sammy Watkins has been at times, the Bills don't have much of a passing game and all the receivers and tight ends have become hit-or-miss options. Sunday was a perfect example of that, as the Bills stayed committed to the run and no one had more than three catches on the afternoon. Woods saw action on 81 percent of the offensive snaps Sunday, while No. 3 receiver Chris Hogan saw 51 percent.

Woods (ankle) had three receptions on four targets for 36 yards in Sunday's loss at Denver.
Woods wasn't 100 percent healthy heading into the game, but it was still a disappointing performance, especially considering Kyle Orton completed 38-of-57 passes for 355 yards. He'll look to bounce back next week against the Packers.
Sun Dec 7 201414:43Woods (ankle) listed as active for Sunday's game against Denver
Woods (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against Denver.
With fellow wideout Sammy Watkins drawing his share of defensive attention, Woods has been targeted a total of 18 times over the last two weeks and he figures to continue to see his share of looks again Sunday, in particular if the game flow in Denver results in the Bills needing to throw more than they have of late.
