Though the Bills have awarded the placekicking job to Dan Carpenter, some questions remain about his capabilities on kickoffs. Gay is unlikely to push Brian Moorman for the punting job, but could be rostered if coach Doug Marrone decides a kickoff specialist is a luxury needed by the Bills.
