Seahawks second-year DE Benson Mayowa has added weight this offseason in an effort to stand up against the run.

Mayowa displayed pass rush skills as a rookie, but his lack of size made him a liability against the run and almost unusable along the defensive line. Now weighing in at 255, Mayowa will be better suited to stand up against the run and should still be able to utilize his quickness to get to the quarterback on passing downs. Mayowa is unlikely to win a job outright in camp, but he should carve out a role as a rotational lineman.
