Thu Jul 17 201412:17Ravens banking on Wagner at RT
The Ravens are banking on Rick Wagner as their starting right tackle.
Most observers expected the Ravens to address the tackle position in the draft or sign a veteran like Eric Winston. They did neither. Now it's up to Wagner, a 2013 fifth-rounder, to seize control of the job. He can't be much worse than last year's right tackle Michael Oher, who was brutally ineffective in both the run and pass games.

Sat May 31 201420:11Ricky Wagner favorite for right tackle job
ESPN Ravens blogger Jamison Hensley expects Ricky Wagner to open the season as the starting right tackle.
Wagner is only battling Ryan Jensen for the starting job, so he's obviously facing little in the way of competition. A veteran signing like Eric Winston can't be ruled out, but the Ravens appear set to move forward with their current depth. Baltimore's projected offensive line is LT Eugene Monroe, LG Kelechi Osemele, C Jeremy Zuttah, RG Marshal Yanda, and RT Wagner.

Sat Apr 19 201412:55Ravens looking at Zack Martin to fill RT hole
ESPN Ravens blogger Jamison Hensley puts a 45% on the Ravens drafting a right tackle early in the draft, perhaps even Norte Dame G/T Zack Martin in the first round.
Hensley said earlier in the offseason second-year T Ricky Wagner would be given a shot to win the job, but he is "buying" the Ravens' interest in Martin. Both would likely be upgrades over former RT Michael Oher, who signed a four-year, $20 million contract with the Titans this offseason.

Sat Feb 1 201412:04Ricky Wagner to get shot to start in 2014?
ESPN Ravens blogger Jamison Hensley expects 2013 fifth-round pick Ricky Wagner to get a chance to earn the starting right tackle job in 2014.
Michael Oher is an impending free agent and might not be back in Baltimore. Wagner was the 168th pick in last April's draft after being a three-year starter at Wisconsin. At 6-foot-6, 308, Wagner has long arms and plus athleticism but got manhandled at Senior Bowl practices last year, causing his stock to fall. There's certainly going to be a right-tackle competition in Baltimore.
