McDougald's second career pick came on a second- quarter Blake Bortles pass intended for Marcedes Lewis, and set up Jameis Winston and company in prime field position on the Jaguars' 20-yard line, a drive that culminated in a Doug Martin rushing touchdown. Nevertheless, McDougald was part of a secondary that surrendered over 300 passing yards and four touchdowns, underscoring the need for continued improvement.

A 2013 UDFA, McDougald joined the Bucs' starting lineup by the end of the 2014 season, and he seemingly played well enough to keep the job. After logging 42 tackles (36 solo) over the final six weeks of the season, he makes for an intriguing 2015 IDP.
