Brown caught two passes for nine yards on four targets in Thursday's 23-20 overtime win over the Steelers.
Baltimore entered the game without much of a receiving corps, then watched Steve Smith and Michael Campanaro exit with lower-back injuries. Brown still couldn't get anything going, whereas Kamar Aiken caught five passes for 77 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. Although he has trouble getting open and hasn't done much this season, Brown could be forced into something close to an every-snap role, if Smith (back) misses any time. Should that happen, Aiken would be the more attractive option, but the Baltimore receiving corps would mostly just be a difficult mess to predict.

Brown caught two passes for 29 yards on five targets in Sunday's 28-24 loss to the Bengals.
Although Kamar Aiken again got the starting nod over Brown, the two wideouts have been on approximately equal footing in terms of both snaps and targets through three weeks. Neither has made any kind of case to be more involved in the offense, with both showing an inability to separate from defensive backs. If Breshad Perriman (knee) ever gets healthy, he might step right into a starting role.

Brown led all Baltimore wide receivers with 70 snaps in Sunday's 37-33 loss to the Raiders, the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports.
Steve Smith and Kamar Aiken started for a second straight week, with Brown again serving as the clear No. 3 wide receiver. Brownonly managed two catches for 14 yards on four targets, even as Joe Flacco threw for 384 yards on 45 pass attempts. Smith should get a big chunk each week, but Baltimore's division of targets is otherwise still tough to predict.

Brown caught both of his targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 19-13 loss to the Broncos.
Brown picked up 22 yards on a back-shoulder throw, providing the longest gain of the day in a pathetic showing by the Baltimore offense. He worked as the No. 3 wide receiver, but he could challenge Kamar Aiken for the starting job, at least until Breshad Perriman (knee) is healthy.
Fri Sep 4 201510:25Brown expected to open season as Baltimore's 3rd wide receiver
Brown is expected to open the season as Baltimore's No. 3 wide receiver, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.
Brown had a quiet training camp and preseason while dealing with hamstring and back injuries, but he did catch three passes (three targets) for 64 yards in Thursday's preseason finale against the Falcons. Although he's reportedly the favorite for the No. 3 wide receiver role, Brown could face competition for snaps from Michael Campanaro. Once healthy, Breshad Perriman (knee) will also provide a threat to Brown's limited role. Steve Smith and Kamar Aiken will open the season Baltimore's starting wideouts.

Brown (hamstring) caught one of three targets for 21 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Eagles.
Although Steve Smith and Kamar Aiken started, Brown still got plenty of work with the first-team offense in his first appearance of the preseason. He'd probably be fourth or fifth on the depth chart if everyone were healthy, but with Breshad Perriman (knee) and Michael Campanaro (undisclosed) both hobbled, Brown may open the season with a sizable role in the offense. Aiken is still the favorite to start across from Smith.
Mon Aug 17 201510:46Brown (hamstring) returned to practice Monday
Brown (hamstring) returned to practice Monday, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Brown has been bothered by a hamstring ailment through the beginning portion of training camp, but was welcomed back to the fold on Monday. With rookie Breshad Perriman (knee) still on the shelf, Brown could capitalize on the first-team reps available opposite Steve Smith in the Ravens' offense moving forward.

Brown's back is doing better but he's now dealing with a hamstring injury, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Brown missed practice for the sixth time in seven days on Saturday, putting his status in question for Thursday's preseason opener against the Saints. He's unlikely to play unless he practices Monday, but Ravens head coach John Harbaugh did say the third-year receiver is getting close. With Breshad Perriman (knee) also unable to practice, Kamar Aiken has received most of the first-team reps across from Steve Smith.
Fri Aug 7 201513:48Brown (back) did not practice Friday
Brown (back) did not practice Friday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports.
Brown has now missed five of the last six practices as he continues to deal with a back injury. An MRI earlier this week confirmed that it's nothing serious, so Brown does not figure to miss extended time.
Wed Aug 5 201514:31Brown (back) had MRI on Wednesday after missing three of Ravens'...
Brown (back) had an MRI on Wednesday after missing three of the Ravens' last four practices, CSN Baltimore reports.
Coach John Harbaugh isn't sure when Brown will be able to get back on the field, but at least the MRI didn't reveal anything too serious. When Brown returns, he'll be competing for the starting wide receiver job opposite veteran Steve Smith. Breshad Perriman (knee), Kamar Aiken, and Jeremy Butler will also battle for the starting gig. Brown had a team-high seven touchdown catches in 2013 as a rookie, but zero scores in 2014 as he saw less opportunities after the arrival of Smith.
Sun Aug 2 201520:47Brown day-to-day with back injury
Brown is day-to-day with a back injury, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Kamar Aiken is the only healthy player competing for the No. 2 wide receiver job, as Brown and Breshad Perriman (knee) are both currently sidelined by minor injuries. Aiken also got a larger share of first-team reps during offseason practices, but Perriman's athleticism and draft spot may allow him to quickly make up ground. Brown seems least likely of the three to win the starting job.

Brown finished the 2014 regular seasons with 24 catches for 255 yards on 31 targets.
Brown was unable to match his 49-524-7 receiving line from his rookie campaign, after the Ravens improved their stable of pass-catchers during the offseason. Brown, Kamar Aiken and Michael Campanaro all split snaps behind Steve Smith and Torrey Smith by the end of the year, which doesn't bode well for Brown's prospects in 2015. However, with Torry Smith's contract set to expire, Brown could perhaps get a crack at a larger role in 2015. Aiken and Campanaro will also be back, so Brown probably needs to compete for playing time.

Brown caught 5-of-5 targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jaguars.
Brown led the Ravens in receptions and receiving yards, but with Torrey Smith (knee) back to full health (or close to it), Brown merely worked as the No. 3 wide receiver. While unlikely to climb the depth chart in the final two weeks of the season, Brown has made a case for an expanded in 2015 by hauling in 22 of his 25 targets. Of course, there's no guarantee he'll actually get that role, as he sometimes still struggles to create separation.

Brown (concussion) caught 3-of-3 targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 28-13 win over the Dolphins.
Brown was able to suit up just one week after suffering a concussion, and he showed no ill effects from the injury. With Torrey Smith (knee) very limited, both Brown and Kamar Aiken logged more snaps than usual. The two seem to be on fairly even footing for the No. 3 wide receiver role, which typically isn't very fruitful in Baltimore's offense.

Brown (concussion) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Working behind Torrey Smith and Steve Smith, Brown's fantasy impact this season has been modest, with the wideout having recorded just 14 catches for 132 yards and zero TDs in 10 games to date.

Brown (concussion) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, ESPN.com reports.
Brown looks like a go this week after practicing fully both Thursday and Friday, but with fellow wideout Torrey Smith also listed as probable, Brown represents a Week 14 fantasy dart.
Thu Dec 4 201414:07Brown (concussion) returned to practice on Thursday
Brown (concussion) returned to practice on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
We'll revisit Brown's progress on Friday, but with Torrey Smith not practicing Thursday, Brown's availability takes on added import for the Ravens' Week 14 offense.
Wed Dec 3 201418:21Brown (concussion) missed Wednesday's practice
Brown (concussion) missed Wednesday's practice, ESPN.com reports.
Brown's status is thus unclear as Sunday's game against the Dolphins approaches, with his Week 14 status of some import, with fellow wideout Torrey Smith currently banged up.

Brown was forced out of Sunday's game against the Chargers with a concussion.
Prior to his exit from Sunday's game, Brown caught three passes for 25 yards, with his status for Week 14's game against the Dolphins now cloudy.

Brown caught his only target for a 14-yard gain in Monday's 34-27 win over the Saints.
Though he seems to be a bit ahead of Kamar Aiken as the team's No. 3 wide receiver, Brown has yet to top 31 receiving yards in a game this season. Further taking away from Brown's appeal, rookie Michael Campanaro may have some kind of role when he returns from a hamstring injury.
