Glenn, who has struggled with an undisclosed illness all summer, has been cleared to participate in team drills and practice fully for the first time since mid-June, BuffaloBills.com reports. Said coach Doug Marrone, "He's cleared to be out there in team periods and progress during team. I'm going to see how he does during the week. I think we have to be smart. I don't think we should just throw him right in there. A lot of it will depend on how he's doing during the week."
It sounds like the Bills are ramping up their starting tackle to be ready for Week 1 against the Bears.
Sat Aug 9 201415:35Glenn
Glenn, who had been on the Non-Football Illness list for all of training camp with an undisclosed illness, has passed his physical was cleared to practice Saturday, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Rookie seventh-round pick Seantrel Henderson had proven to be a nice surprise at left tackle filling in for Glenn, but we'll assume the Bills will feel much more comfortable heading into the regular season with perhaps one of the NFL's top dozen left tackles.

Mon Jul 21 201418:40Marrone doesn't reveal details about LT Glenn
Coach Doug Marrone refused to reveal details regarding LT Cordy Glenn's (active/NFI list) illness.
"It's a medical condition. I'm preparing to go on as if he's not playing, which he's not," Marrone said. "I'm just waiting for the doctors, and I can't speak about the condition because it's something that happened outside of football. I'm not allowed to speak about it, guys. I'm sorry." Marrone doesn't sound overly optimistic about his left tackle. For now, it's a waiting game. Rookie Seantrel Henderson has been taking the first-team reps in Glenn's place.

Fri Jul 18 201419:27Bills GM says Glenn's season not in jeopardy
Bills GM Doug Whaley said he doesn't believe LT Cordy Glenn's (illness, active/NFI list) season is in jeopardy "at this time."
"We hope not," Whaley added. "We're still waiting on some reports, but it looks like it's gonna be one of those day-to-day things and we'll see how it progresses." Glenn was limited in OTAs and missed minicamp due to the illness. WGR 550's Joe Buscaglia suggests Glenn could be dealing with a similar issue to Chris Hairston, who spent all of last year on the NFI list. Hairston and rookie Seantrel Henderson replaced Glenn at left tackle during spring practices and should continue to split reps if he misses extended time in camp.

Wed Jul 16 201417:06Bills place LT Glenn, DT Branch on NFI list
Bills placed LT Cordy Glenn and DT Alan Branch on the active/non-football illness list.
Both players can be activated at any time, and aren't expected to miss much, if any, time at training camp. Glenn graded out as a top-13 tackle at Pro Football Focus last season, excelling both in the run game and as a pass protector. Entering his third season, the Bills expect another step forward. He'll be in line for an extension next spring. Branch is a run-plugging behemoth in the middle.

The last blurb we had on Glenn was one from August talking about how he was working at left guard. Glenn has held down the fort at left tackle, grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 15 overall tackle through ten weeks. He's only given up one sack and has played the most snaps in the league at 748.

Wed Aug 7 201314:32Bills work Glenn at left guard on Wednesday
Bills LT Cordy Glenn kicked inside and worked with the first-team offense at left guard in Wednesday's training camp practice.
Second-team left tackle Thomas Welch was bumped up to the first team Wednesday. The Bills have been unimpressed with the competition between Colin Brown and Doug Legursky at left guard, so they're looking for a left-side combination that works. Glenn was viewed by many as a guard prior to the 2012 draft. Welch, a practice squad talent, isn't a realistic option to man left tackle.

"To be honest with you, I think they'll both be ready for Houston," coach Chan Gailey said Friday. Glenn and Urbik will both miss Sunday's game against the Titans, and Buffalo has a Week 8 bye. The Bills' passing game has fallen flat on its face without its two starting offensive linemen the past two weeks.

Bills LT Cordy Glenn (ankle) missed practice again on Friday.
Glenn hasn't practiced at all this week, so his chances of playing on Sunday are slim-to-none. Chris Hairston would step into the starting lineup on Ryan Fitzpatrick's blind side. RG Kraig Urbik (ankle) and reserve interior lineman Chad Rinehart (calf) also haven't practiced this week. It's a matchup upgrade for the Arizona D/ST.

Mon Aug 20 201217:37Rookie Glenn wins Bills' left tackle job
Second-round rookie Cordy Glenn has officially been named the Bills' starting left tackle.
Glenn had started each of the Bills' first two preseason games, and was always the favorite over holdover Chris Hairston. Hairston started seven games in 2011, and will serve as Buffalo's swing-tackle. Glenn boasts left-tackle size at 6-foot-6, 345 pounds, but just 18 of his 50 college starts came on the blindside. Hairston will step in if Glenn struggles early.

Thu Jun 21 201215:46Glenn will battle Hairston at left tackle
Bills rookie Cordy Glenn will have to hold off Chris Hairston for the starting left tackle job in training camp.
Hairston saw action on Ryan Fitzpatrick's blindside in 11 games last year, faring poorly down the stretch. Glenn should be considered the favorite after taking nearly all of the snaps during spring practices while Hairston filled in for RT Erik Pears (hernia surgery).
