Saints re-signed exclusive rights free agent OT Bryce Harris to a one-year, $570,000 contract.
Saints GM Mickey Loomis has been consistently fantastic unearthing productive undrafted free agents, and Harris is one of his most recent gems. The 25-year-old Fresno State alum has shown well in two spot starts the past two seasons while seeing extensive action as a sixth lineman in jumbo packages. Harris will be in the mix to succeed free agent RT Zach Strief in 2014.

Saints placed RT Bryce Harris (broken leg) on injured reserve, ending his season.
TE Michael Higgins was signed to the active roster in a corresponding move. Harris broke his leg in Sunday's game versus the 49ers. With Zach Strief and Charles Brown also injured, the Saints could be turning to fourth-stringer William Robinson as their Week 13 starter at Atlanta. Harris will have to battle for a roster spot in 2013.
