Thu Jun 4 201517:12Durham signed with Raiders on Thursday
Durham signed with the Raiders on Thursday, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.
Durham was merely added to provide competition for the fringe WR spots in the Raiders' receiving corps. Since he was selected 107th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft, he's completed only one full season, hauling in 38 balls (on 85 targets) for 490 yards and two touchdowns with the Lions in 2013. His usage reduced significantly last season in Tennessee, though, as he was active in only four games.
Wed Jun 3 201520:59Durham expected to sign with Raiders
Durham is expected to sign with the Raiders, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.
Durham spent last season with the Titans but only managed to play in four games over the course of the year. The terms of his deal have yet to be released but it's likely a one-year tryout where he'll see an deep spot on the depth chart that coincides with limited snaps on the field, that's if he even makes the regular season roster.
Tue Mar 10 201513:41Durham
Durham, a restricted free agent, has not been tendered by the Titans, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.
Durham will thus hit the open market at 4 PM ET on Tuesday, coming off a season in which he caught just six passes for 54 yards. He'll likely need to compete for a roster spot, regardless of where he signs.

Durham finished the 2014 season with six catches (on 11 targets) for 54 yards.
Even with injuries popping up here and there, Durham was still unable to earn a bigger role in Tennessee's offense. The 26-year-old, now a free agent, is highly unlikely to make much of a fantasy impact regardless of where he ends up ahead of the 2015 season.

Durham could carve out a bigger role in Tennessee due to the season-ending injury to fellow receiver Justin Hunter.
Durham has yet to record a single catch and has only been active once for the Titans this season, but he could be thrust into added responsibility now that Hunter's out, especially with Kendall Wright (hand) also banged up. The fourth-year wideout had 38 catches for 490 yards and two touchdowns with Detroit in 2013.
Sun Sep 21 201411:47Durham healthy inactive for Sunday's game against Bengals
Durham is a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Durham has yet to play in any of the Titans' three games this season. He'll probably need one of the team's top five receivers to suffer an injury before he receives an opportunity to earn snaps.
Sun Aug 31 201416:55The Titans have claimed Durham off waivers from Lions
The Titans have claimed Durham off waivers from the Lions, the Tennessean reports.
Durham adds depth to a Tennessee wideout corps that currently also includes Nate Washington, Kendall Wright, Justin Hunter, Derek Hagan and T.J. Graham. He thus remains a couple of breaks away from fantasy consideration.
Sat Aug 30 201413:42Durham released by Lions on Saturday
Durham was released by the Lions on Saturday, the Detroit Free Press reports.
Despite hauling in 38 balls (on 85 targets) for 490 yards and two touchdowns last year, Durham was unable to make the cut in 2014. The Lions have yet to announce their final 53-man roster, but Jeremy Ross and Corey Fuller seem to have secured wide receiver gigs out of camp.

The Lions may use a rotation behind starting wideouts Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate, ESPN's Michael Rothstein reports.
Durham started in place of Calvin Johnson earlier this preseason, but Kevin Ogletree has seen most of the work as the No. 3 guy in three-wide sets. With none of Durham, Ogletree, Jeremy Ross and Ryan Broyles doing much to stand out, the Lions may not go with any one player as the consistent No. 3 receiver. Even if they were to settle on one guy, targets would be hard to come by, after the team added Golden Tate and Eric Ebron in the offseason.
Sat Aug 9 201422:28Durham started Saturday's preseason opener against Browns
With Calvin Johnson sitting out, Durham started Saturday's preseason opener against the Browns, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
A recent report from the Detroit Free Press said that Kevin Ogletree has emerged as the favorite for the No. 3 wide receiver role, but it was Durham who filled in for Megatron on Saturday night. The starting distinction probably isn't all that meaningful, as Ogletree also played early in Saturday's game. With Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate, Eric Ebron, Brandon Pettigrew, Joseph Fauria, Reggie Bush and Joique Bell all expected to contribute in the passing game, Detroit's No. 3 wide receiver role probably won't be lucrative, unless Tate and/or Johnson go down.
Sat May 31 201413:07'Tough to see' both Durham & Ogletree in Det
ESPN Lions reporter Michael Rothstein says it is "tough to see" both WR Kris Durham and WR Kevin Ogletree making Detroit's 53-man roster.
With the infusion of wide receiver talent in Detroit this offseason, fringe players like Durham and Ogletree have become expendable. Durham was a drop machine in 2013, and Ogletree has been mostly ineffective throughout his career. Both players are best suited as No. 4 or 5 receivers in real football and ignorable in fantasy.

Fri Mar 7 201414:29Lions tender ERFA receiver Kris Durham
Lions extended an exclusive rights free agent tender to WR Kris Durham.
He's now owed $570,000. Durham, 26, appeared in all 16 games in 2013, starting 13 and catching 38 passes for 490 yards with two touchdowns. This was never by design, of course, as Durham was forced onto the first team by injury. He registered a whopping ten dropped passes and ranked among the worst wideouts in the NFL in "catch rate." Durham is best suited as a No. 4 or 5 receiver.

Fri Feb 14 201416:20Kris Durham is exclusive rights free agent
Updating a previous item, Lions WR Kris Durham is an exclusive rights free agent this offseason.
Retaining him will cost the Lions under $700,000, so he's very likely to return to Detroit. It was originally believed Durham was a restricted free agent, which would've made him a $1.389 million-or-more player. Durham finished 2013 with 38 catches for 490 yards and two touchdowns, making 13 starts.

Wed Feb 12 201413:41Durham expected to get original-round tender
Restricted free agent Kris Durham is expected to receive an original-round tender from the Lions.
Durham was originally a fourth-round pick by Seattle, so no team is going to surrender a fourth-rounder for his services. The low tender would pay Durham $1.323 million in 2014, as long as he makes the team, which is no sure thing. The Lions desperately need to add one or two receivers this offseason. In an ideal world, Durham would be nothing more than a No. 4 or 5 wideout.

Sun Dec 22 201320:09Durham held to 14 yards in Week 16 loss
Kris Durham caught two balls for 14 yards in the Lions' Week 16 loss to the Giants.
Durham was low in the pecking order for targets in this one, even with Calvin Johnson (knee) noticeably hobbled. Joique Bell, Joseph Fauria, and Nate Burleson all played more prominent roles. The Lions face Minnesota to close out the regular season. Durham is a role-playing No. 3 receiver in OC Scott Linehan's offense.

Tue Dec 17 201300:44Durham catches just one pass in MNF defeat
Kris Durham caught one pass for five yards in Week 15 versus the Ravens.
Durham was targeted four times on the night. He was the intended receiver in the end zone on a play where Lardarius Webb clearly grabbed Durham's left arm, forcing Durham to try and make a one-handed catch. There should have been a flag for defensive pass interference. Durham is barely on the WR5 radar.

Sun Dec 8 201317:58Kris Durham can't haul in a pass in snow
Kris Durham did not catch a pass in Sunday's Week 14 loss at Philadelphia.
Durham saw three targets, often failing to keep his footing in eight inches of snow. The conditions were actually worse as players got closer to the sidelines, where Durham operates. Regardless, he'll just be a WR4/5 against the Ravens in Week 15. Slot man Nate Burleson is the No. 2 receiver in the passing game.

Thu Nov 28 201316:28Kris Durham has three-catch afternoon
Kris Durham caught three passes for 68 yards in Detroit's Week 13 win over the Packers.
Surprisingly running as the Lions' No. 2 receiver, Durham drew seven targets opposite Calvin Johnson. He was the intended target on Matthew Stafford's first interception, but there was nothing he could do on a badly under-thrown pass. The Lions like Durham enough to keep him involved in the offense even after the return of Nate Burleson, but he's nothing more than a middling WR4/5 for fantasy purposes.

Sun Nov 10 201317:32Durham catches lone target for touchdown
Kris Durham caught a five-yard touchdown in Week 10 against the Bears.
It was Durham's lone target on the afternoon and he cashed it in for a score on the Lions' opening possession. Calvin Johnson was targeted on 17 of Matthew Stafford's 35 passes, so there obviously weren't a ton of other balls to go around. Durham is merely a WR5 most weeks.

Sun Oct 27 201317:42Kris Durham has four-catch afternoon vs. DAL
Kris Durham caught four passes for 54 yards in Detroit's Week 8 win over the Cowboys.
Durham's biggest catch came on the Lions' desperation, and ultimately game-winning, final drive. Streaking down the sideline, Durham made a 40-yard grab in stride before getting out of bounds to stop the clock. Durham has now made at least three catches in five straight games, and is averaging 53 yards in the process. There are worse bye-week fill-ins.
