Miller has pleaded no contest to his disturbing the peace charge and will rejoin the 49ers' preseason activities, CSN Bay Area reports.
It didn't sound good for Miller when he was arrested on domestic violence charges this March. But once the investigation was complete, they found that there was no physical assault stemming from the argument with his then-fiancee. Assuming this matter is indeed put behind him, Miller can get started on competing for the starting fullback role with teammate Trey Millard.

Miller was arrested last Thursday in Santa Clara, CA on suspicion of domestic abuse, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
The case has been transferred to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office, but no matter what comes to light in the coming weeks and months, Miller will likely be subject to suspension once his legal matters are resolved.

Miller caught three passes for 17 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
Miller didn't have a spectacular season from a fantasy perspective, but he saw increased usage in the second half of the season when injuries and lack of production from the 49ers' tight ends forced Colin Kaepernick to look elsewhere for checkdowns. He will be used in a similar role in 2015, which will help the 49ers' offense, but won't provide enough usage to help those in fantasy.

Miller caught four passes for a season-high 56 yards in Sunday's loss to Seattle. He also carried the ball two times for four yards.
Miller was asked to take on a bigger receiving role with Garrett Celek (ankle) leaving the game with an injury. That is now three consecutive weeks where Miller has shown deep league production. His Swiss-army knife style of play is very useful for a 49ers' offense that is dealing with a plethora of injuries, and it could result in another marginally useful performance next week against the Chargers. Just keep in mind that his ceiling is pretty low.

Miller caught his only target and took it to the house for an eight-yard score in Sunday's loss to the Raiders.
Miller caught the only touchdown of the game, and then disappeared after the first-quarter score. He has shown a little play-making ability in the past, but with so many receiving options in San Francisco, Miller is nothing more than a safety valve for Colin Kaepernick at this point.

Miller caught all three of his targets for 40 yards in Sunday's win over Washington.
Miller saw increased usage with backup tight end Vance McDonald (hip) inactive Sunday. He could continue to see increased usage if McDonald is forced to miss additional time. The versatile fullback does a lot for the 49ers in a real football sense, but he won't warrant fantasy consideration even with the slightly increased usage.

Mon Feb 17 201417:58Niners have had early talks with Bruce Miller
ESPN reports the 49ers have had "preliminary" extension talks with FB Bruce Miller.
One of the league's better lead blockers, Miller is going into the final year of his rookie contract. Also an able pass catcher, Miller is a favorite of coach Jim Harbaugh. Considering the vanishingly-little leverage held by any fullback, the sides should be able to come to an agreement.

49ers placed FB Bruce Miller on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, ending his season.
Miller suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Bucs. He'll now miss the rest of the regular season and won't be available for the playoffs. Miller had graded out as a top-four fullback by Pro Football Focus, so it's a significant loss to the 49ers' running game. DL/FB Will Tukuafu has been re-signed to replace him on the active roster.

Fri Aug 26 201111:53Bruce Miller pushing Norris off roster?
Rookie FB Bruce Miller has been getting reps ahead of incumbent Moran Norris.
Miller, a seventh-round pick that played defensive end at Central Florida, could push Norris right off the roster. However, new coach Jim Harbaugh favors multiple tight end sets over fullbacks, so Miller figures to have his biggest impact on special teams.

Sat Jul 30 201110:20Rookie Miller has shoulder injury
An MRI has revealed nerve damage in rookie FB Bruce Miller's shoulder.
Miller has had fluid drained from the shoulder, and says the injury isn't serious. As a seventh-round pick trying to make the conversion from defensive end to fullback, however, any injury could jeopardize his chances of making the 49ers' 53-man roster.

Wed Jul 27 201117:4449ers sign rookie Bruce Miller
49ers signed seventh-round FB Bruce Miller to a four-year contract.
Miller was the talk of "rookie camp" -- really player-organized activities -- this offseason while making the transition from college defensive end to pro fullback. Miller should stand a solid chance of making the final, 53-man roster because he's so versatile. He will also be asked to play special teams.

Sat Jul 9 201111:02Bruce Miller may still see time on defense
49ers seventh-round pick Bruce Miller could see time at outside linebacker in addition to fullback this season.
A two-time Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year at Central Florida, Miller is being converted from defensive end to fullback by the Niners, but they apparently think he can still be an asset on defense. He's about as good a bet to make the 49ers' 53-man roster as a seventh-round pick could be.
