Quinn picked up a pair of sacks in a 34-31 victory against Seattle on Sunday.
It took six games to get his first sack in 2014, so it's good to see Quinn getting off to a great start this time around. Having Chris Long back healthy at the other end position certainly helped, and Quinn also has Aaron Donald to keep double teams off him. It wouldn't be surprising to see another 15-20 sack season from Quinn, as that front line in St. Louis is going to give opposing offensive lines nightmares all season.

Quinn erased a slow start to his season with 10.5 sacks, 46 tackles and five forced fumbles in 2014.
Quinn did struggle with consistency this season, as he had a few games without tackles and didn't register a sack until week six. It was going to be a challenge to match his 19-sack output from 2013, but all in all, it ended up being a decent year for Quinn -- especially with fellow defensive end Chris Long out for the majority of the season.

Quinn wreaked havoc on the Raiders on Sunday, picking up three sacks, five tackles and two forced fumbles in a 52-0 win.
Quinn had failed to register a single tackle the past two weeks, but certainly responded in a big way Sunday. Despite rough patches throughout the season, Quinn still has four forced fumbles, 34 tackles and nine sacks.

Quinn tallied four tackles -- including two sacks and a tackle for loss -- in a 13-10 win against the 49ers.
Quinn finally seems to have gotten his mojo back, as he has five sacks in three games after going without for the first five. He and his teammates made Colin Kaepernick's life miserable on Sunday, and Quinn has recaptured the magic that led him to 19.5 sacks last season.

Quinn had his best game of the season in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Chiefs, amassing five tackles and two sacks.
Quinn is starting to round back into his 2013 form, as he now has three sacks in his last two game after being blanked his first five contests. He could be in for a monster second half of the season stats-wise, although the Rams' defense struggled mightily Sunday.

Quinn finally got his first sack of the season Sunday to go with four tackles and a tackle for loss in a 28-26 win over Seattle.
Quinn has been the primary focus of opposing linemen and has been bottled up for the most part this season. Owners have likely given up on him now, but at least for the Rams' sake, they have to hope this is the start of a bounce-back.

Quinn remains without a sack after five games, but did have a tackle for loss in Monday's loss to San Francisco.
The loss of Chris Long has really hurt Quinn and the entire Rams defense, as it has only one sack as a whole in five games. Quinn got off to a slow start last season, but nowhere near this sluggish. He has 12 tackles in five games.

Quinn provided two tackles (one for loss) Sunday but the Rams fell to the Cowboys 34-31.
Opposing offensive lines have solved Quinn thus far this season, as he has been held without a sack and to only seven tackles. IDP owners have to be concerned about Quinn's output, as this is an incredibly slow start for the star defensive end.

Quinn tallied three tackles in a 19-17 win against Tampa Bay on Sunday.
It wasn't a huge performance after signing a monster deal during the week, but the St. Louis defense played well and the Rams got the win. Quinn doesn't have a sack through two games, but he did start fairly slowly last year as well.
Sat Sep 13 201413:29Robert Quinn: $66.575 Million Extension With STL
Quinn signed a four-year, $66.575 million extension with St. Louis on Saturday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Quinn is one of the league's most intimidating defenders, piling up 29.5 sacks in his last 33 games, and he just turned 24 in May. He's an elite athlete with a long history of dominating as a pass rusher, so it's possible that he hasn't even reached his ceiling yet. This deal locks up him through 2019.

Quinn had two tackles (one for loss) in Sunday's season opener and found out Wednesday that fellow starting defensive end Chris Long will miss 8-to-10 weeks with an ankle injury, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Although St. Louis is deep at the defensive end position, William Hayes doesn't attract nearly as much attention as Long did. Quinn may see more double teams than he already would have, and that paired with the Rams' porous run defense hurts Quinn's fantasy prospects.
Mon Apr 28 201412:53No-brainer: Rams exercise option on DE Quinn
Rams exercised DE Robert Quinn's fifth-year club option for 2015.
It's a no-brainer move. Quinn has emerged as one of the game's most dominant pass rushers over the last two seasons, compiling 29.5 sacks and 77 quarterback hurries while playing in all 32 games. He was Pro Football Focus' top 4-3 defensive end by a massive margin last year. Now the Rams have Quinn for just $1.6 million in 2014 and $6.9 million in 2015. They'll have to pull the Brinks truck into his house before he hits free agency in 2016.

Sun Mar 9 201418:32Rams to exercise Robert Quinn's option
The Rams are expected to exercise RE Robert Quinn's fifth-year club option of $6.9 million in 2015.
So St. Louis will be able to keep Quinn for $8.56 million over the next two seasons. It's a team-friendly bargain after Quinn exhibited ferocious pass-rush ability en route to 19 sacks and seven forced fumbles in 2013. The deadline for clubs to exercise fifth-year options on 2011 first-round picks is May 3.

Fri Jan 3 201413:21Quinn, Watt lead NFL 1st-team All-Pro defense
Robert Quinn and J.J. Watt were the first-team defensive ends as the AP announced the NFL's All-Pro team on Friday.
As a 23-year-old third-year breakout player, Quinn led the NFC in sacks with 19, finishing .5 behind league leader Robert Mathis. Quinn also paced the NFC in forced fumbles (7). Here is the rest of the 2013 All-Pro first-team defense: DTs Gerald McCoy and Ndamukong Suh, OLBs Mathis and Lavonte David, ILBs Luke Kuechly and Navorro Bowman, CBs Richard Sherman and Patrick Peterson, safeties Earl Thomas and Eric Berry, P Johnny Hekker.

Mon Dec 23 201314:09Robert Quinn improves to 18 sacks on season
With one game left to play, Rams RE Robert Quinn leads the NFL with 18 sacks.
He eclipsed St. Louis' franchise mark by surpassing Kevin Carter (17 sacks) with three takedowns of Mike Glennon in Sunday's win over the Bucs. Quinn also has seven forced fumbles. Luke Kuechly plays for a better team, but Quinn has just as good a case for 2013 Defensive Player of the Year accolades.

Mon Dec 16 201310:36Robert Quinn emerging as superstar for STL
SI's Peter King suggests Rams DE Robert Quinn as a Defensive Player of the Year candidate.
Quinn isn't a household name, but he will be soon and is very much in play to win the award. Through 14 games, the 2011 first-round pick has piled up 15 sacks, 46 tackles, seven forced fumbles and 10 tackles for a loss. Quinn is Pro Football Focus' No. 1 4-3 defensive end by a country mile. Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly, Seahawks S Earl Thomas and Colts OLB Robert Mathis are also strong candidates for DPOY.

Fri Nov 30 201215:22Rams will decide Quinn's status Saturday
Rams RE Robert Quinn's (concussion) availability for Week 13 against the 49ers will be determined on Saturday.
Quinn still has a few hurdles to clear in order to gain full medical clearance, but he's believed to be on the right track. If he experiences no symptoms on Saturday, Quinn will be given the starting nod versus San Francisco.

Wed Nov 28 201216:38Robert Quinn misses suffer a concussion
Rams DE Robert Quinn missed Wednesday's practice with a concussion.
This is a surprising development, as there was no mention of a concussion for Quinn following the Rams' win over Arizona on Sunday. Despite a favorable matchup, Quinn struggled in the contest and failed to record a single fantasy-relevant stat. The Rams haven't announced a timetable for his return, but this certainly doesn't bode well for Week 13 status.

Tue Jul 31 201223:53Robert Quinn impressing at Rams camp
Rams RE Robert Quinn has reportedly looked "quick, quick, quick around the edge" so far at Rams training camp.
Quinn was arrested for DUI on July 10, but he's moving forward and showing up big time on the practice field. With Michael Brockers and Kendall Langford manning the interior and Quinn bookended by Chris Long, St. Louis quietly has the foundation of a dynamic front four. An edge-bending pass rusher, Quinn has the best physical skill set of the group and is a strong 2012 breakout candidate.
