Sun Oct 4 201511:48Davon House: Active Week 4
House is active Sunday against the Colts.
House will be starting at left corner for the Texans. With Matt Hasselbeck starting at QB for the Colts, House will have a much better matchup without Andrew Luck on the field.
Fri Oct 2 201511:16House (foot) seen practicing Friday
House (foot) was seen practicing Friday, Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union reports.
House, the big free-agent addition from the Packers this offseason, hasn't been all that effective so far --- he's recorded just seven tackles and hasn't forced a turnover in 177 snaps this season --- however his presence will be needed in the secondary when the Jaguars take on the Colts this Sunday.
Tue Mar 10 201511:19House will sign four-year deal with Jaguars
House will sign a four-year deal with the Jaguars, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
The deal has an average annual value of $6.25 million, leaving little doubt that House will start. He mostly served as Green Bay's third or fourth cornerback the past few seasons, but the Packers had strong depth at the position, and House held up reasonably well when tested. Jacksonville seems to be continuing its trend of overpaying for solid but unspectacular players.

House started at cornerback and made seven tackles in Sunday's loss to the Saints.
House played all but one snap in Sunday's game with regular starter Sam Shields (knee) inactive, but he could move back into a nickel role in the next game if Shields is able to get healthy during the Packers' upcoming bye week.

House (finger) is expected to practice Wednesday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
House dislocated his finger during Sunday's game and was forced to leave in the fourth quarter. He's admittedly dealing with some linger soreness but plans to put some tape on it and be a full participant during this upcoming week of practice.

House did not return to Sunday's game after dislocating a finger in the fourth quarter, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
House felt he could have returned to the game, but he was held out after suffering the injury with the Packers well ahead on the scoreboard. House started Sunday's game in place of an injured Sam Shields (knee) and would step in again if Shields is unable to go in Week 8.

House suffered a finger injury during Sunday's game against the Panthers and is considered questionable to return.
House started Sunday's game in place of Sam Shields (knee) and fared well, as he was hardly targeted, but still came up with a pass defensed to prevent a deep touchdown. Although the extent of his finger injury is unclear, it unlikely House will re-enter Sunday's game given the current lopsided score of 38-10 mid-way through the fourth quarter.
Thu Aug 15 201317:58Davon House now on the roster bubble?
Packers CB Davon House "went on the bubble" after a nightmarish preseason opener.
Despite his starting-caliber talent, the Packers have been pleased enough with youngsters Micah Hyde and James Nixon that House can't get comfortable. Beat writer Bob McGinn described House's play against Arizona as "soft" and devoid of confidence. House would generate interest if he hit the waiver wire.

Sun Jun 16 201319:59Davon House declares himself 100 percent
Packers CB Davon House declared himself 100 percent recovered from last year's debilitating left shoulder woes.
House could've undergone year-ending surgery after the preseason dislocation, but instead gutted it out and was largely ineffective across nine appearances (five starts). House had the surgery on January 23, costing him all of OTAs. A big (6'0/195), physical press corner, House arguably has as much upside as any Packers CB. He'll jump right back into the mix for snaps.

Thu Mar 21 201300:50Davon House has chance for big 2013 role
Packers coach Mike McCarthy expects third-year CB Davon House to "definitely" push for a starting job in training camp.
"He'll definitely be someone who'll push for a starting position or definitely a big role," McCarthy promised. House was a 2012 camp star before suffering a shoulder injury he unsuccessfully attempted to play through. "You could've made a point there the first three weeks of camp, he might've been our best corner," McCarthy added. House had surgery in January. He'll be healthy by July.

Wed Jan 23 201316:15Davon House undergoing shoulder surgery
Packers CB Davon House is undergoing left shoulder surgery Wednesday.
House didn't make his season debut until Week 7 after separating his shoulder in the preseason. Playing with a brace, House made five starts over nine games, playing 318 total snaps. He graded out positively in Pro Football Focus' ratings. The 2011 fourth-round pick should be 100 percent well before training camp, and is expected compete for a starting job.

Sat Sep 22 201222:19House (shoulder) doubtful for Monday night
Packers CB Davon House (doubtful, shoulder) is still "at least a week or two away" from returning.
House was limited in practice this week, and isn't expected to be active for Monday Night Football. Prior to being injured, he was in the mix for the starting right cornerback job, but it remains to be seen if he can maintain the level he showed in the preseason. House will have to wear a protective brace on his dislocated left shoulder once he returns to game action.

Wed Aug 1 201207:58Davon House promoted into starting lineup
The Packers promoted second-year CB Davon House onto the first-team defense for Tuesday's training camp practice, displacing Jarrett Bush.
The Packers opened camp with Bush opposite Tramon Williams, but it was likely just to send a message. House only took a few days to overtake him, and second-round pick Casey Hayward has seemingly already locked up a first-team job in Green Bay's dime defense. Sam Shields has slipped down the depth chart.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel confirms House is "in the race" for Green Bay's No. 2 corner job, cleared up by Charles Woodson's move to safety in the base defense. House is battling incumbent Sam Shields, special teamer Jarrett Bush, and perhaps his most formidable challenger, second-rounder Casey Hayward.
