McCoy (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Jacksonville, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports
McCoy played through the same injury the past two weeks, and there's no reason to think Week 5 will be any different. The Bucs just don't seem to be fans of the 'probable' or 'out' designations, instead preferring to list players as 'doubtful' or 'questionable' even when there's no mystery regarding their availability.

McCoy now has taken down the quarterback in three out of the Bucs' four games, and amassed his best tackle total in a contest in 2015. The All-Pro defensive tackle continues to play through a lingering shoulder injury that may not fully heal until the offseason, but remains a force to be accounted for by opposing teams. McCoy has tallied one sack in both games this season, placing him behind only Jacquies Smith (four) among Buccaneer pass rushers. With only five tackles otherwise, though, McCoy's weekly lines will be muted unless he continues to pile of sacks. Of course, his health is limiting his practice reps to kick off the week, so owners should keep an eye on his status as Sunday's game in Houston approaches.

McCoy finished the 2014 season with 35 tackles (28 solo), three passes defensed, 8.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
McCoy was recently named to his third consecutive Pro Bowl and signed a seven-year, $98 million contract extension in October. His 13 tackles for loss placed him fourth among interior linemen despite his appearance in only 12 games this season. He missed two contests early in the season with a broken hand before being placed on injured reserve for the final two. As the substantial financial investment the Buccaneers made this season indicates, McCoy will be heavily relied upon to anchor the Tampa Bay defensive line moving forward. Assuming he is healthy for the 2015 season, McCoy should continue to be a force as he plays through the prime years of his career.

With the Buccaneers closer to clinching the top pick in the draft than a playoff berth, there seems little reason to rush McCoy back, though head coach Lovie Smith said after the game that the team doesn't know the full extent of the injury yet. If his season is over, McCoy will finish with 35 tackles, including 8.5 sacks.
