McCoy will face off against the Redskins and Kirk Cousins in Week 7 after the Bucs' bye.

He played in Week 3 against the Texans, and he'll likely be fine for Sunday's game against the Panthers, though he could play fewer snaps than he usually does. He played 54 snaps in Week 3, but his snap percentage was actually way down, as the Texans ran a whopping 90 plays.

His 13 tackles for loss placed him fourth among interior linemen despite his appearance in only 12 games this season. He missed two contests early in the season with a broken hand before being placed on injured reserve for the final two. As the substantial financial investment the Buccaneers made this season indicates, McCoy will be heavily relied upon to anchor the Tampa Bay defensive line moving forward. Assuming he is healthy for the 2015 season, McCoy should continue to be a force as he plays through the prime years of his career.

He is done for the season after injuring the knee in Sunday's game, but it is very encouraging that McCoy will not require surgery. After rehabbing in the offseason, he should be ready to return to anchor Tampa Bay's defensive line in 2015.
