Tue Mar 11 2014 | 16:33 | Jags land LG Beadles on 5-year, $30M pact |
Jaguars agreed to terms with LG Zane Beadles, formerly of the Broncos, on a five-year, $30 million contract. |
GM Dave Caldwell stated all along that his top priority was to upgrade the interior of Jacksonville's offensive line. Beadles had a down year in 2013 but is normally a well above-average pass protector. He and LT Luke Joeckel will hold down the left side of the Jaguars' line for years to come. Beadles got $13 million guaranteed. |

Sat Mar 8 2014 | 11:20 | Beadles would like to stay in Denver |
Free agent LG Zan Beadles said he is unsure of his future but "would love to be a Bronco" in 2014. |
The Broncos seem content to allow Beadles to test his value in free agency, where he could receive upwards of $5 million annually. Denver could replace Beadles in house by moving C Manny Ramirez back to his natural guard position and drafting a center. Beadles is our No. 6 free-agent guard. |

Sat Feb 1 2014 | 14:09 | Broncos LG Beadles seeking five-year deal |
The Denver Post believes impending free agent LG Zane Beadles could be in line for a five-year, $25 million contract this offseason. |
Beadles graded out as just the No. 51 guard by Pro Football Focus this season, but is considered a strong pass protector and was a Pro Bowler in 2012. He should draw interest from multiple teams if allowed to test the open market. Rotoworld currently ranks Beadles as the No. 6 guard available this offseason. |

Wed Jan 30 2013 | 02:37 | Broncos LG Beadles sparks minor salary bump |
Broncos LG Zane Beadles' 2013 salary jumped from $575,000 to $630,000 based on rookie-deal incentives. |
Beadles has started 46 of a possible 48 games since being a second-round pick out of Utah in 2010. He was picked as a Pro Bowl replacement in 2012 and graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 18 guard in the league. Beadles is entering the final year of his contract. |

Wed Oct 20 2010 | 09:20 | Beadles to remain starter at RT |
Coach Josh McDaniels said that rookie Zane Beadles played well enough in Week 6 to remain the starter at right tackle. |
Still, he didn't exactly have a ringing endorsement for the rookie keeping the job over Ryan Harris. "It's a competitive situation," McDaniels said. "If it makes them both better, that's a great thing for our team. I think Zane didn't play perfect, but he held up in most instances." |

Mon Oct 18 2010 | 11:46 | Beadles starts over Harris |
Rookie Zane Beadles started at right tackle ahead of Ryan Harris in Sunday's loss to the Jets. |
Harris' ankle is healed but he did not play a snap as the Broncos continue to shuffle their offensive line. With the running game struggling to open any holes, Harris will likely get a chance again at some point soon. Beadles is a natural guard. |

Wed Sep 8 2010 | 10:12 | Beadles to start in place of Harris |
Rookie Zane Beadles is expected to start at right tackle Sunday in place of Ryan Harris (ankle). |
Beadles was originally projected as the Broncos' left guard, but he's needed outside now. It's a big chance for the versatile second-rounder, who gets a nice matchup against Jacksonville's weak pass rush. |

Fri Aug 27 2010 | 14:39 | Broncos left guard job still open? |
Rookie LG Zane Beadles will see time at left tackle Sunday, with Stanley Daniels playing left guard on the first team offense. |
Coach Josh McDaniels suggested that the left guard battle remains open to competition, but this seems more about finding a viable backup to Ryan Clady now that Tyler Polumbus has been dumped. We still expect Beadles to start Week 1 at left guard. |

Tue Jul 27 2010 | 19:46 | Broncos sign No. 45 overall pick Beadles |
Broncos agreed to terms with No. 45 overall pick OG Zane Beadles on a four-year contract. |
A four-year starter at left tackle for Utah, the highly intelligent Beadles will move inside to left guard for the Broncos. He's expected to battle 33-year-old Russ Hochstein, coming off ACL surgery, for the starting job. For the health of the power rushing attack, the Broncos better hope Beadles wins out. |

Tue Jun 8 2010 | 11:49 | Broncos move Beadles to left guard |
The Broncos have moved second-round pick Zane Beadles to left guard. |
Beadles, the 45th overall pick in April, was initially practicing at right tackle with Ryan Harris (toe) sidelined. Left guard, however, gives him his best shot to win a starting job. Beadles' competition will be journeyman Russ Hochstein, who is 33 years old and coming off reconstructive knee surgery. |

Sun May 2 2010 | 09:47 | Beadles, Polumbus to fill in for Clady? |
Zane Beadles and Tyler Polumbus are expected to get the first crack at replacing starting left tackle Ryan Clady (knee surgery). |
The Broncos could also still take a look at free agent Flozell Adams. Polumbus started eight games at right tackle last season and practiced at left tackle, so he looks like the favorite right now. Beadles was a four-year starter at Utah but doesn't have ideal size to play outside, let alone at left tackle. |

Mon Apr 26 2010 | 14:27 | Zane Beadles to play right tackle initially |
Broncos second-round pick Zane Beadles will begin his career at right tackle. |
Top-45 picks like Beadles usually start for mediocre teams like Denver, so Ryan Harris appears to have been put on notice. Harris is coming off a serious toe injury. If healthy, Harris will ideally win the position, as Beadles serves as a swing tackle/guard with some potential as a backup center. |

Fri Apr 23 2010 | 19:14 | Broncos pick Beadles |
Broncos selected Utah OL Zane Beadles with the No. 45 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. |
A favorite of NFL Network draft analyst Corey Chavous, Beadles started all four years for the Utes and is highly intelligent, leaving school with a 3.54 GPA as a mechanical engineer. Beadles was a left tackle in college, but the 6-foot-4, 307-pound two-time first-team All-WAC pick will likely end up inside due to a lack of ideal athleticism and short arms. Mike Mayock believes he could even play center, which is a weakness in Denver. |
