Brandon Gomes (lat) hopes to begin another minor league rehab assignment during the All-Star break.

Gomes had believed he was close to returning to the Rays' bullpen before feeling something "grab" during his most recent rehab appearance. As it stands currently, he shouldn't be expected to return until the end of July at the earliest.
