While the 27-year-old led the way on the scoring end, he still had trouble shooting the ball, going 8-for-29 from the field and 1-for-6 from deep. He posted similar shooting percentages in Game 1, so it's apparent the Sixers will continue to make him a focal point defensively. However, Brunson can get it done in multiple ways, keeping him on the radar as a top DFS option for any lineup when these clubs meet for Game 3 on Thursday night in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) had a double-double in Monday's loss to the Knicks. He tweaked his surgically repaired left knee in Game 1 on Saturday and was listed as questionable heading into this one. However, the reigning MVP logged 39 minutes and finished with 34 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. With the Sixers trailing two games, the series will head back to Philadelphia for Game 3. DFS managers should expect Embiid to appear on the injury report, just like he has since returning from his lengthy layoff. With that in mind, Embiid will remain one of the best fantasy options available, even though he's not fully healthy and has had issues shooting the ball in this series.

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's postseason clash with the Mavericks. He has started practicing, although it's unknown how involved he actually was. With that in mind, DFS managers likely won't see him on Tuesday night. However, it appears there's at least a chance Leonard could return during the series with Dallas. Nonetheless, Paul George, Ivica Zubac, and James Harden should lead the way offensively while Leonard is out. At the same time, there's room for Russell Westbrook, Norman Powell, and Terance Mann to benefit on the scoring end.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.com, the Pistons might be interested in signing forward Miles Bridges this summer. After sitting out the 2022-23 campaign because of legal troubles, the 26-year-old amassed a career-high 21.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in 69 games with the Hornets this season. Of course, there will be more than a handful of teams expected to make an offer. However, Detroit will have the cap space during the offseason, although the interest could fade depending on who takes over as the president of basketball operations.

Impending free-agent guard Malik Monk (knee) is expected to test free agency. While the Sixth Man of the Year favorite indicated his love for Sacramento, he could sign elsewhere for more money. Without question, Monk will command plenty of attention in the open market, especially from teams with cash to spend. The 26-year-old is coming off the best season of his career, averaging 15.4 points, 5.1 assists, and 2.9 rebounds in 72 games during the 2023-24 campaign. Unfortunately, he suffered a sprained MCL toward the end of the year and wasn't available for either of Sacramento's Play-In contests. Monk should be fully healthy by the start of the new season, although his fantasy outlook won't be known until he signs his next contract.

Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is doubtful to play in Tuesday's game versus the Pacers. TNT's Jared Greenberg reported on Sunday that the team remains optimistic the multi-time MVP will be back at some point during the series against Indiana. However, he's not expected to play in Game 2 as he continues to work his way back from a left Soleus strain. Of course, Damian Lillard will stay a popular DFS option on Tuesday night, especially after scoring 35 points in Game 1. In addition, Bobby Portis and Khris Middleton, each amassing a double-double on Sunday, will also see more attention from fantasy managers if Antetokounmpo is officially ruled out.

According to TNT's Chris Hayes, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will suit up for Monday's matchup with the Knicks. Embiid tweaked his surgically repaired left knee in Game 1, forcing him to exit the contest briefly. However, he managed to finish the game, amassing 29 points. The 30-year-old looked tired at times throughout Saturday's loss to the Knicks and also had trouble shooting the ball. There's also a chance of re-injury, meaning he's a risky DFS option despite the obvious upside.

Phoenix Suns guard Grayson Allen (ankle) will be listed as questionable on Tuesday for Game 2 of the Western Conference quarterfinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After exiting Saturday's Game 1 defeat to the T-Wolves due to a sprained right ankle, Allen wasn't a full participant in practice on Monday but was still able to get some shots up and has been getting treatment "around the clock," per head coach Frank Vogel. After netting a team-high four three-pointers in the first game of this first-round series against Minnesota, three-and-D wing Royce O'Neale would be a prime candidate to join Phoenix's starting five and a more attractive DFS option if Allen sits out on Tuesday. In eight regular-season games as a starter for the Suns, O'Neale chipped in 11.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 3.1 threes per contest.

Philadelphia 76ers guard De'Anthony Melton (back) remains out for Monday's game against the Knicks. Melton battled a back injury for most of the 2023-24 campaign. He also wasn't available for the Play-In tournament or Game 1 of the series with New York on Saturday night. Head coach Nick Nurse hasn't closed the door on Melton returning at some point. However, there's a chance he won't be back until at least next season. Nonetheless, it appears Nurse will give the starting lineup more minutes they can handle, so Melton likely wouldn't have done much to benefit fantasy managers even if he were available.

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) is listed as probable for Monday's postseason clash with the Denver Nuggets. By now, most should expect him on the injury report for the remainder of the playoffs. But unless James suffers a significant setback with his nagging ankle injury, DFS managers should expect to see him out there. The 39-year-old continues to produce at a high level, most recently amassing 27 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in the Game 1 loss to the champs. He also had seven turnovers, although that shouldn't keep DFS managers from putting him in their lineups.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis (back) is probable heading toward Monday's matchup with the Nuggets. AD was on the injury report ahead of the Game 1 loss to the champs. But as expected, he was on the floor. Davis looked good, too, amassing a 32-point, 14-rebound double-double with four blocks. Head coach Mike Malone will likely make some adjustments, making it unlikely Davis will remain as productive in Game 2.

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum scored a team-high 23 points in Sunday's postseason win over the Miami Heat. The former Blue Devil had issues shooting the ball, going 7-for-18 from the field and 1-for-8 from deep. However, he made all eight free throw tries and added 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals. Tatum played well against the Heat during the 2023-24 campaign, averaging nearly a triple-double. He has an excellent chance to remain as productive, so he deserves attention from DFS managers moving ahead despite a likely rostering cost increase.

However, Adebayo did all he could to at least keep the game semi-competitive, although it wasn't enough. With Jimmy Butler (knee) and Terry Rozier (neck) on the shelf, the 26-year-old has an excellent chance of remaining the team's top scorer throughout the series, especially since Herro has had trouble shooting the ball of late. Both clubs will meet on Wednesday for Game 2. Of course, Adebayo will stay a viable DFS option.

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro struggled in Sunday's 114-94 loss to the Celtics. After scoring a game-high 24 points in Friday's Play-In win over the Bulls, he had 11 in Game 1, going just 4-for-13 from the field and 3-for-9 from behind the arc. The 24-year-old added four rebounds and four assists. But it was still a disappointing showing from Herro, who will now try to turn things around in Game 2 on Wednesday night. However, the C's could continue to target him on the defensive end, so his DFS potential could remain limited for the rest of the series.

But it's possible he won't be out there for that one, opening the door for Mo Bamba and Paul Reed to take over in the middle.

Phoenix Suns guard/forward Grayson Allen (ankle) exited Saturday's postseason loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The former Duke Blue Devil tweaked his ankle, so he'd finish the day with four points, five rebounds, and two assists in 25 minutes of work. Luckily, X-rays were negative, and the team will now take things day by day before deciding his availability for Game 2 on Tuesday evening. If he can't suit up, Royce O'Neale, finishing with 14 points in Game 1, would likely slide into the starting lineup and immediately become an enticing DFS option for any contest.

Miami Heat guard/forward Duncan Robinson (back) is questionable for Sunday's playoff matchup versus the Celtics. The 29-year-old is on the injury report again because of Left Facet Syndrome, something he's battled for weeks. While Robinson was available for Wednesday's Play-In loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, he remained on the bench. However, he saw 12 minutes in Friday's victory over the Chicago Bulls and ended the night by amassing eight points, three boards, and one assist. With Jimmy Butler (knee) and Terry Rozier (neck) out for Game 1, Robinson should get on the floor. Yet, he's likely not fully healthy, making him hard to trust for DFS contests.
