Sat Oct 28 202310:02Stephen Curry Puts In Vintage Performance With Seven Triples
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry picked apart the Sacramento Kings on Friday, producing 41 points on 7-for-10 three-point shooting in a 122-114 win. He was 14-for-19 overall from the field and also bagged a couple of steals in 35 minutes with four rebounds and four assists. The former MVP logged his 33rd 40-point game since turning 30 years old, which puts him behind only Michael Jordan (44). Curry set a Game 7 record last season with 50 points during his previous visit to the Golden 1 Center, and he likely can't wait to get back there again. Golden State's next trip to North California comes on Nov. 28.

Sat Oct 21 202310:46Stephen Curry Has Rough Shooting Night In Loss
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry logged 20 minutes in Friday's loss to the youthful San Antonio Spurs. The veteran had 11 points, shooting a rough 2-for-11 from the field and an equally disastrous 1-for-6 from deep. In all fairness, none of the Warriors' starters played the best, so Curry can get a pass. Golden State added Chris Paul in the offseason, so there will be a natural adjustment period while everyone on the team figures out their roles. But Curry should continue to play at an All-Star level throughout the 2023-24 campaign, even if his MVP days are well behind him.

Thu Oct 19 202308:59Stephen Curry Notches 30 Points With Eight Treys
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry hit eight triples and finished with 30 points as his crew beat Sacramento 116-115 in a preseason contest Wednesday night. Half of the points came in the fourth quarter when the Warriors turned a big deficit into a win with a 40-point period. Curry, who completed his night with a game-winning trey in the final seconds, shot 10-for-18 from the field and had four rebounds with five assists, one steal, and one block in 31 minutes. He was the starting point guard again after sharing the court with Chris Paul in the previous two games. Paul's presence should ease Curry's playmaking burden in 2023-24, allowing him to focus more on scoring, but his assists numbers will likely dip in the process.

Sun Oct 15 202320:36Stephen Curry And Chris Paul Get The Night Off On Sunday
Golden State Warriors guards Stephen Curry and Chris Paul are getting a rest night on Sunday during their game against the Sacramento Kings. According to Anthony Slater, head coach Steve Kerr said that the veterans on the team would at least get one game off during the preseason. This most likely allows the team to evaluate some of the fringe players on the roster. Paul has had a bit of a rough start to the preseason with some uncharacteristic turnovers, but Kerr hasn't had an issue with it so far. While Curry will likely be a first or second-round pick in many fantasy drafts, Paul is now a mid-to-late-round value with his diminished role.

Sat Oct 14 202310:52Stephen Curry Scores 18 Points In Preseason Loss
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry finished with 18 points in the preseason victory over the Lakers on Friday night. The multi-time All-Star looked good in this one, going 5-for-8 from the field and 2-for-4 from deep. He added four assists and three rebounds and displayed his defensive acumen by amassing one steal and one block. Curry averaged 29.4 points last season. He also drained 42.7% of his tries from behind the arc, one of the best marks of his career. Even at his advanced NBA age, he's expected to remain a top fantasy option this year. But considering Curry hasn't appeared in more than 69 games in any of his previous six seasons, fantasy managers will likely be without him at some point during the 2023-24 campaign.

Tue Aug 29 202318:42Stephen Curry Hopes To Play As Long As LeBron
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been the face of the franchise and one of the best in the league for years now. While on Gilbert Arenas' podcast, Curry said that he'd figure out how long he'll play past the remaining three years on his contract when the time comes, but he'd like to play as long as possible. Since his game isn't predicated on raw athleticism, it's plausible to think Curry could play well into his late 30s like Ray Allen and become a three-point specialist. He should still have some very high-level years left before the retirement talk even starts.

Mon May 22 202311:50Who's the Greatest Golden State Warrior? Ranking the Top 10 Greatest Warriors Players of All Time
Younger basketball fans recognize the Golden State Warriors dominating run during the late 2010s and early 2020s. They've won four NBA championships, including back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018. Their 2022 championship run is also the stuff of legends after finishing third in the Western Conference before defeating the Boston Celtics in six games. However, the franchise's history is more than this dynasty. They are one of the original members of the Basketball Association of America, the predecessor of the National Basketball Association. Back then, they were known as the Philadelphia Warriors. But in 1962, Franklin Mieuli moved the team to California after becoming the team's majority owner. They were known as the San Francisco Warriors until they switched to the state's official nickname in 1971. Several NBA players who donned the team's uniform became legends and Hall of Famers. But here are the best competitors who have proudly represented the Dubs.

Honorable Mention: Al Attles

https://twitter.com/AfricanArchives/status/1529588451879931904Alvin Austin Attles Jr. may not have the impressive stats that other players on this list had. He only averaged 8.9 points per game in 11 years. However, it's hard to undermine his impact on the franchise. After playing his entire NBA career with the Warriors franchise, he also served as the team's head coach and general manager.Attles is also one of the team's ambassadors since 1987. He has worked for the organization in official capacities for over six decades. No wonder it was easy for the franchise to retire his number 16 jersey, one of only seven numbers the Warriors have on the rafters as of the 2022-23 NBA season.

10. Tim Hardaway

But Timothy Duane Hardaway Sr. is more than just a point guard with slick ball-handling skills. The Warriors drafted him 14th overall in the 1989 NBA Draft, and he became an instant sensation after being named to the 1990 NBA All-Rookie First Team. During his seven-year stint with Golden State, he became a three-time All-Star and a 1992 All-NBA Second Team member.

9. Chris Mullin

He played for the Warriors until 1997, becoming a five-time NBA All-Star. Mullin was also a 1992 All-NBA First Team member. This member of the high-octane "Run TMC" trio in the early 90s also made it to the All-NBA Second Team in 1989 and 1991. The Warriors have retired Mullin's number 17 jersey.

Sat May 13 202310:47Stephen Curry Scores Inefficient 32 Points
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry led all scorers with 32 points in Friday's Game 6 against the Lakers, but he did it with extremely inefficient shooting. Curry was 4-for-14 with the three-ball and finished 11-for-28 from the field. With Klay Thompson also struggling and going 2-for-12 from deep, the Warriors had a tough time putting points on the board all night and had to settle for a 122-101 loss. Curry wrapped up his final line of the season with six rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block. The campaign ended on a sour note, but Curry is only a couple of weeks removed from a 50-point effort, and he's set to remain an elite fantasy asset next season despite turning 36 next March.

Thu May 11 202310:51Stephen Curry Leads All Scorers In Game 5 Victory
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry stepped back up to fend off elimination on Wednesday night in a 121-106 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The superstar shooter posted 27 points, eight assists, three rebounds, and one block on 12-for-24 shooting and 3-for-11 from deep. The starting five were all positives in the plus/minus department, all while Curry and Company didn't even shoot well from three. The tougher test will be another road game on Friday night to force a Game 7. Curry is one of the only players on the team that is just as good on the road as he is at home this season.

Tue May 9 202310:02Stephen Curry Posts A 30-Point Triple-Double
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry put together a 30-point triple-double in Monday's Game 4 loss to the Lakers, finishing with a game-high 31 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists. Curry already had a 17-7-7 line cooked up by halftime, and he added three steals to his tally in 42 minutes. However, Curry's third career playoff 30-point triple-double came with poor 12-for-30 shooting, and he was able to hit just 3-for-14 from deep. The Warriors will need a more efficient performance from their leader in Wednesday's Game 5 to survive another day. Giving him better support wouldn't hurt the team's chances either. The other starters combined for 49 points Monday and nobody else reached the 20-point mark.

Sun May 7 202310:09Stephen Curry Limited To 23 Points, Three Assists Saturday
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry had a quiet outing in Saturday's Game 3 against the Lakers, finishing a blowout loss with 23 points and three assists. He completely ran the show in Game 2 with 12 assists, but the Lakers managed to limit his impact Saturday night and it resulted in a big victory for them. Curry was 4-for-10 from downtown but shot a poor 9-for-21 overall from the field. In 32 minutes on the floor, he was able to add four rebounds, one steal and one block to his tally with three turnovers. We should get a big reaction from Curry in Monday's Game 4, as the Warriors try to avoid the dreaded 3-1 deficit in the second-round series.

Fri May 5 202309:27Stephen Curry Notches Double-Double
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry was passive on offense during Thursday's Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers. The veteran sharpshooter attempting only 12 shots, which is tied for his second-lowest mark of the season. Curry instead operated as an elite facilitator and let others do the shooting on Thursday. He finished with 20 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds in the victory over Los Angeles. Curry had eight assists by halftime, which is a new playoff career high. The series now shifts to Los Angeles, so we'll see if Curry is more aggressive on the scoring end in Game 3.

Wed May 3 202309:53Stephen Curry Leads Warriors With 27 Points Tuesday
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry turned a hot finish to a team-high 27 points in Tuesday's Game 1 loss to the Lakers. After racking up 50 points Sunday versus Sacramento, Curry looked human again, but he enjoyed a late scoring surge with 14 fourth-quarter points Tuesday. The veteran star finished with impressive 6-for-13 shooting from deep and was 10-for-24 overall from the field with six rebounds, three assists and one steal. Golden State dropped the game, but Curry is still 15-8 all-time against LeBron James in the playoffs. The rivalry resumes on Thursday.

Sat Apr 29 202308:33Stephen Curry Totals 29 Points In Game 6 Loss
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry produced a game-high 29 points in Friday's Game 6 against Sacramento, but a lack of scoring from the rest of the team meant that the defending champions couldn't finish off the series, taking a 118-99 loss. Curry was 5-for-12 with his three-pointers, but it was a pretty poor shooting night for him overall, with the two-time scoring champ going 9-for-21 from the field and even struggling at the charity stripe with a 6-for-9 effort. Curry and his crew now face a Game 7 on the road Sunday, which is far from an ideal situation. He will enter the pivotal game as the fifth-leading scorer in the playoffs, having averaged 31.0 points per game.

Mon Apr 24 202309:09Stephen Curry Stays Hot From Deep, Has 32 Points Sunday
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry shot 5-for-11 from deep en route to a team-high 32 points in Sunday's 126-125 win over Sacramento. He was outstanding throughout the contest, although Curry almost cost the Warriors the game by calling a timeout with 42.1 seconds remaining in the fourth with no timeouts left for the team. It helped the Kings cut a five-point deficit to one, but luckily for Golden State, the defending champions were able to hang on to the victory to tie the series. Curry finished 11-for-22 overall from the field and completed his line with five rebounds, four assists and one steal, committing only one turnover in 43 minutes. The veteran superstar has shot a superb 11-for-23 from deep across the last two games and has notched at least 30 points in three of the four games in the series.

Fri Apr 21 202310:54Stephen Curry Leads The Warriors To First Win Of The Series
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry wasn't going to get punked on his home floor as the series shifted back to San Francisco. The former MVP posted 36 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block while shooting 12-for-25 overall and 6-for-12 from beyond the arc. The team was missing their defensive leader in Draymond Green, so a lot of people were counting the Warriors out. It seems like all of those people forgot that they have the best shooter of all-time and one of the best home-court advantages in the league.

Sun Apr 16 202309:25Stephen Curry Has 30 Points In Game 1 Loss
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry was outstanding in Game 1 against Sacramento with 30 points, but the team still needed a bit more from him, as the former MVP couldn't save the defending champions from a 126-123 loss. He finished with 11-for-20 shooting from the field and was 6-for-14 from behind the arc. Curry ended up with a game-high five turnovers but was plus-11 for the contest and completed his line with six rebounds and two assists. The veteran superstar has now scored 30-plus points in five of his last seven playoff appearances and will look to do it again Monday in Game 2.

Tue Mar 21 202309:40Stephen Curry Cooks Up A Full Line Monday
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry produced a good all-around performance as the team snapped an 11-game road losing streak with a 121-108 victory in Houston. He led all scorers with 30 points and notched seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in 36 minutes of action. Curry was 5-for-15 with the three-ball and 10-for-23 overall from the field. The Warriors have been shockingly poor on the road, but Curry actually averages more points on the travels than at home, upping his numbers from 28.9 to 30.5. The defending champions are in Dallas next and then head home for four consecutive games.
