He'll join Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges and JaVale McGee in the starting unit for this game. Jae Crowder (wrist) is sitting this one out, so Jalen Smith should see more playing time as well. Both Johnson and Smith should be worth looking at as streaming options on Monday. Johnson is the slightly better fantasy option, but both should have value here.

Phoenix Suns guard Cameron Payne (wrist) won't be on the court for at least the next two weeks. He suffered a right wrist injury and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. In the meantime, Landry Shamet and Elfrid Payton should be asked to split up a majority of Payne's playing time. Neither of them should gain enough value to be worth snagging in most fantasy formats. Also, Payne is likely to miss more than two weeks and should be placed on the waiver wire in most formats right now.

Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Utah Jazz. This marks the fourth game in a row that Ayton has missed due to a right ankle injury. Despite that, the organization continues to call Ayton's status day-to-day, so fantasy managers shouldn't be too concerned. JaVale McGee and Bismack Biyombo will see plenty of minutes without Ayton on the court. At this point, Biyombo is offering more upside and is worth a look as a streaming option.

Utah Jazz forward Royce O'Neale (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Phoenix Suns. He is dealing with knee tendonitis, so he'll sit out the second game of the back-to-back set. The Jazz are missing a majority of their starters for this contest. Fantasy managers should expect Rudy Gay and Eric Paschall to play significant minutes during Monday's game. Both have some streaming appeal, but Gay offers slightly more upside.

Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Phoenix Suns. Ingles will be joined by Mike Conley (rest), Donovan Mitchell (concussion) and Bojan Bogdanovic (finger) on the sideline. Jordan Clarkson should enter the starting five and see plenty of chances with the ball. Trent Forrest and possibly Danuel House get more playing time without Ingles available. Fantasy managers should expect Ingles to return for Wednesday's rematch with Phoenix. Until then, Clarkson is looking like a strong streaming choice and DFS option for Monday's slate.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley (ankle) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Beverley has been dealing with a nagging right ankle issue, which has forced him to miss time. That being said, it's uncertain if he'll get back to the court for this game. The fact Anthony Edwards (knee) is off the injury report is good news for the Wolves. He should play more minutes and handle the ball more frequently if Beverley misses Tuesday's game. Also, Jaylen Nowell and Malik Beasley could see more minutes, assuming Beverley is out.

Chicago Bulls power forward DeMar DeRozan (rest) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. Oklahoma City due to rest purposes. The team gets the luxury of resting DeRozan with Zach LaVine (knee) and Javonte Green (adductor) returning to action. Without DeRozan in the mix, Troy Brown Jr. and Tyler Cook stand to see elevated roles, although either will be tricky DFS assets, even in a condensed slate. The absence of LaVine has funneled the vast majority of Chicago's offensive duties to DeRozan, who averaged 30.6 PPG in his absence; while he may not have the same upside upon his return Wednesday against the Raptors, he has shot a career-best 50.5 percent against his former franchise (including a stunning 55.6% from behind the arc).

Chicago Bulls shooting guard/small forward Zach LaVine (knee) has been given the green light to suit up for Monday's game against Oklahoma City, giving him an early return from a knee ailment that was set to keep him sidelined for at least one more contest. In all, LaVine will have missed five outings, which leads to him facing a capped minutes total against the Thunder. In six January outings prior to getting injured, LaVine knocked down an average of three triples per game, tossing in 23.5 points for good measure. When on the floor, LaVine figures to be the team's offensive focal point with DeMar DeRozan (rest) ruled out and Nikola Vucevic (knee) a game-time decision.

Indiana Pacers point/shooting guard Caris LeVert (calf) has been cleared to play in Monday's contest vs. the Pelicans, returning from a two-game absence. LeVert figures to be Indiana's primary playmaker when on the court with Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) and Domantas Sabonis (ankle) still sidelined, heavily elevating his upside, even if it comes with a slightly reduced minutes total. LeVert compiled 30 points in just 27 minutes in his latest outing, having averaged 24.6 PPG over his last eight contests. New Orleans' defense has yielded the fifth-highest opponents' shooting percentage (46.7%) this season, propelling LeVert into sizable DFS consideration during the short slate.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Rajon Rondo (hamstring) has been cleared to play in Monday's game vs. the Knicks, stemming his absence at six contests. Rondo gives the Cavs a clear backup for Darius Garland at the point guard position, with the veteran having appeared in just three games since the acquisition. In those appearances, Rondo averaged 21.7 minutes and scored in double figures twice, an indication of the role that he appears set to hold among Cleveland's second unit. Holding larger name value than fantasy upside for the time being, Rondo can likely remain on the waiver wire in all season-long formats until he can string together consistent production and playing time.

Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's contest vs. the Knicks, paving the way for Dean Wade to slide into the starting five. Allen's absence comes amidst a stretch of having delivered double-digit rebounding numbers in each of his last five outings, four of which have been double-doubles. Wade's role has heavily fluctuated this season, although he has proven to be an adept DFS punt play when starting, averaging 7.4 points and 4.2 boards across 28.6 minutes in his 16 starts. Kevin Love and Evan Mobley stand to have elevated scoring and rebounding duties, particularly with the Knicks down their starting center in Mitchell Robinson (ankle). Allen's next chance to suit up comes Wednesday against Milwaukee.

Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) has been deemed questionable to suit up for Tuesday's contest vs. the Celtics due to a sore left ankle. Fox has already missed one game due to the ailment, which allowed Tyrese Haliburton to serve as the team's de facto starting point guard Sunday. After a slow start to 2021-22, Fox has kicked his production into high gear during 10 January outings, averaging 23.7 PPG on 50 percent shooting overall. A return from Fox would likely slide Terence Davis to the second unit, which gives fantasy managers reason to check back before tip-off to get a clearer sense of the Kings' backcourt picture.

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (knee) has been bumped up to probable for Tuesday's game against Brooklyn, which would mark a return to action after a 17-game absence. Davis' return will be a boon for a slumping Lakers squad in need of frontcourt production, as the eight-time All-Star has delivered his usual elite fantasy numbers on a nightly basis when healthy: 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.0 blocks, and a 52.1% shooting percentage. LeBron James and Russell Westbrook figure to continue holding upper-tier fantasy upsides, while Dwight Howard is likely to slide back into a reserve role, zapping him of his already limited DFS and season-long viability. Davis will likely face a minutes cap Tuesday, but season-long managers can undoubtedly get him back in any and all lineups.

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson (ankle) will be unavailable to play in Monday's game against the Cavaliers due to a sprained left ankle that he sustained during Sunday's outing. Robinson was held to just 16 minutes due to the ailment, with his absence paving the way for Nerlens Noel and Taj Gibson to take on significant frontcourt minutes, in addition to Julius Randle having elevated rebounding duties. Robinson has enjoyed his most consistent stretch of production during January, averaging 11.5 points and 8.9 boards across 10 contests, delivering a double-double in four of those outings. His next chance to return to action comes Wednesday vs. Miami.

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert (calf) and point guard Mike Conley (knee, rest) have been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Suns. Gobert has recently battled an ankle ailment but he will now be sidelined due to a strained left calf. Conley's absence comes as a form of load management after playing 29 minutes Sunday. Without the league's leading rebounder in the mix, Hassan Whiteside is likely to see a significant jump in both time on the floor and usage, making him a hot commodity in the DFS market, particularly during the four-game slate. Conley's absence (along with that of Donovan Mitchell) should funnel more intrigue toward Jordan Clarkson, although Jared Butler could be a sneaky upside DFS option in his own right. Gobert's next chance to return comes Wednesday in a rematch with Phoenix, a matchup Conley should have the green light for.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. He was listed as questionable coming into this contest, but will sit out due to back soreness. His absence should mean more minutes for Xavier Tillman. Possibly, Santi Aldama gets into the rotation, but won't be a streaming option. Neither player is worth a look even with Clarke on the sideline.

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert (ankle) will be available for Sunday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He is good to go for this contest after dealing with left ankle soreness. He should play nearly 40 minutes with Hassan Whiteside (conditioning) remaining on the sideline. Also, Gobert should be asked to do more on the offensive end with Donovan Mitchell (concussion) sidelined. Bojan Bogdanovic (hand) will also be active and should be asked to step up on the offensive end on Sunday. Although, Gobert is obviously the better fantasy option between the two.

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson (knee) will not suit up for Sunday's game against the Utah Jazz. He wasn't listed on the injury report heading into this contest after sitting out due to rest purposes on Friday. However, Thompson likely experienced knee soreness while warming up, which will force him out of action here. The Warriors are going to be extremely cautious with Thompson considering his injury history. Jordan Poole should slide back into the starting five on Sunday. He'll have some streaming appeal without Thompson available on Sunday.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Lauri Markkanen (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the New York Knicks. This is not surprising considering Markkanen recently suffered a right ankle sprain. Luckily, the X-rays came back negative, so hopefully he won't miss too much time. Kevin Love and Cedi Osman are likely going to be asked to step up in the absence of Markkanen. Love is the slightly better fantasy option, but both should have appeal while Markkanen is out.

Denver Nuggets forward Jeff Green (quad) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Detroit Pistons. The Nuggets will also be without JaMychal Green due to health and safety protocols. That being said, Zeke Nnaji stands to play significant minutes with the Nuggets having limited options. DeMarcus Cousins is available to make his team debut, but we'll see if he actually suits up. Cousins is too risky to use as a DFS option, but Nnaji could have some low-end appeal.
