Kuzmic did not play in Friday night's preseason game against the Heat, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Kuzmic started at center and scored 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting with four rebounds and an assist in 17 minutes in Thursday's preseason win over Denver.
Andrew Bogut was given the night off on the first of a back-to-back set, so we got a look at Kuzmic, who was quite good and directed the defense when on the floor. While the Warriors wait for Festus Ezeli (shin) to return as Bogut's backup, maybe they already have a healthy backup with Kuzmic.

Kuzmic will start at center against Denver on Thursday night in place of a resting Andrew Bogut, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Bogut's getting a night off in the first of a back-to-back preseason set. Kuzmic has been getting a steady dose of minutes in reserve of Bogut this preseason while Festus Ezeli (shin) remains unavailable.
Sat Oct 11 201406:09Kuzmic has played 33 minutes in first two preseason games
Kuzmic has played 33 minutes in the first two preseason games. He has eight points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals in wins over the Clippers and Lakers.
Whether Kuzmic has a role once the regular season starts is an open question, but the Warriors' depth in the front court is thin, as Festus Ezeli deals with shin inflammation and Marreese Speights (13 minutes) appears to be unwanted. Once the regular season kicks in, we may see a steady dose of David Lee at backup center with Draymond Green filling in at the four. Or maybe, just maybe, the Warriors feel Kuzmic can give them 10 serviceable minutes a night.
Sat Oct 4 201411:47Kuzmic said he's healthy
Kuzmic, who was held off Serbia's World Cup team because of a stress reaction in his left leg, said he's healthy, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
There hasn't been much news about Kuzmic coming out of camp, but he's in a position to get some backup center minutes. Both he and Festus Ezeli (shin) had been or are currently dealing with leg problems, but are in the mix behind Andrew Bogut.

Kuzmic won't be able to participate for Serbia in the FIBA World Cup because he needs four weeks to recover from a stress reaction in his leg, CSN Authentic reports.
Kuzmic definitely could have used the World Cup to help prepare him for the Warriors' upcoming season since he only averaged 4.4 minutes during 21 games last year. He spent most of the season in the D-League where he showed some promise for the future. However, with his stress reaction and limited NBA experience, he won't likely see significant playing time behind Andrew Bogut in 2014-15.
Wed Jun 18 201409:16Ognjen Kuzmic still a project for Warriors
Warriors scouting director Larry Riley recently admitted that 2012 draft pick Ognjen Kuzmic still has "some development to do."
"Kuzmic is long," Riley said, in an attempt to put a positive spin on the situation. Warriors co-owner Joe Lacob was a bit more optimistic, saying, "We can never have too many big guys ... We're developing yet another one on our roster in Mr. Kuzmic." Even if he does carve out a small role off the bench behind Andrew Bogut next season, there's no reason to glance at Kuzmic on draft day.

Mon Apr 14 201419:37Warriors call up Kuzmic and Nedovic
The Warriors recalled Ognjen Kuzmic and Nemanja Nedovic on Monday.
Even with Andrew Bogut at less than 100 percent, Kuzmic is unlikely to play much with the Warriors. He has no fantasy value and had a quiet rookie season.

Thu Mar 20 201413:42Ognjen Kuzmic recalled from the D-League
Ognjen Kuzmic has been recalled form the D-League by the Warriors.
Kuzmic had been playing with the Santa Cruz Warriors and will join the Golden State Warriors in time for Thursday's game against the Bucks. Kuzmic had been averaging 13.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in his latest stint with Santa Cruz so he does have some upside, but he will be hard-pressed to find enough minutes to make a difference outside of the deepest fantasy leagues.

Ognjen Kuzmic has been assigned to Santa Cruz of the D-League.
Kuzmic has only played a total of five minutes in 2014, so this move should come as no surprise for the 23-year-old. The Warriors have yet to announce a corresponding roster move, but this news isn't even a ripple on the fantasy landscape.

Mon Dec 30 201309:58Ognjen Kuzmic (hand) to re-join Warriors
Ognjen Kuzmic (fractured hand) will reportedly join the Warriors this week.
He injured himself four weeks ago and had an initial six-week timetable for his recovery, but he wouldn't be the first player to return early from a fractured hand. Unfortunately, Kuzmic isn't a fantasy option even with Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) out indefinitely.

Tue Nov 26 201316:06Ognjen Kuzmic out at least six weeks
Warriors rookie Ognjen Kuzmic will miss at least six weeks following surgery to repair his broken right hand.
This doesn't have fantasy implications but it's a tough blow for Kuzmic's development. The Bosnian big man is averaging just four minutes per game in 10 appearances with Golden State.

Thu Sep 26 201310:05Ognjen Kuzmic expected to sign GSW deal
Center Ognjen Kuzmic is expected to be bought out of his Spanish team contract and the Warriors are expected to sign him to a guaranteed deal.
Kuzmic, who is 7-foot-1, has been working out with the team and will put the Warriors at 14 contracted players once he signs. Training-camp invitees Seth Curry, Dewayne Dedmon and Cameron Jones would battle for the final roster spot, but it's also possible the Warriors could just decided to start the season with 14 players.

Wed Aug 21 201309:48GSW draftee opts out in Spain, heads to NBA
Ognjen Kuzmic has opted out of his contract in Spain and will join the Warriors for training camp.
There are no guarantees for Golden State's second-round pick in 2012. He's a legitimate 7'1" center and could eventually serve as insurance for the Warriors' frontcourt, but he'll remain a fantasy non-entity even if he makes the team.
