| Sat May 25 | 00:46 | Shane Battier has no response to Hibbert | Shane Battier | SF | Heat | Free Agent |
Shane Battier said he had no response to Roy Hibbert's accusation of intentionally kneeing him in the groin. |
"I have no response. You'll read about it in my book one day," Battier said. He was quiet in Game 2 and failed to score in 14 minutes, so Hibbert certainly has the last word at this point. |

| Fri May 24 | 22:42 | Sam Young (ankle) heads to the locker room | Sam Young | SF | 76ers | Free Agent |
Sam Young suffered a sprained left ankle in the third quarter of Friday's game and is questionable to return. |
He landed awkwardly near the basket on the defensive side of the court, then hobbled his way to halfcourt before heading to the locker room. Young has been getting plenty of burn and has been on the wrong end of a lot of big plays so far in this series. Lance Stephenson and Paul George will continue to get plenty of work on the wings. |

| Fri May 24 | 21:55 | Mike Miller suffers injury to end first half | Mike Miller | SG | Heat | Free Agent |
Mike Miller suffered an injury at the end of the first half on Friday. |
He hit a huge 3-pointer at the buzzer to end the half and was grimacing in pain as the Heat went to the locker room. It's unclear what happened, but he didn't appear to roll an ankle and perhaps he tweaked something in his troublesome back. Check back for updates. |

| Fri May 24 | 09:23 | Report: Howard not interested in W's, Hawks | Dwight Howard | C | Magic | Free Agent |
According to Ric Bucher, Dwight Howard is not interested in signing with the Warriors or Hawks. |
We told you to buckle up for this wild ride, and it's already rumor-monger season in regards to Dwight Howard. Bucher writes that Howard never had legitimate interest in joining the Warriors, and he's wary of playing in Atlanta because it's his hometown. Bucher adds that Howard has "softened" his stance on joining the Rockets, but his original list of teams he was interested in included Brooklyn, Los Angeles (Lakers) and Dallas. Right now, it appears the Lakers, Mavs and Rockets are the three legitimate options. |

| Fri May 24 | 09:11 | Samuels to play summer league w/ Clippers? | Samardo Samuels | PF | Cavaliers | Free Agent |
Samardo Samuels will reportedly play in summer league for the Clippers. |
Samuels signed a two-month contract to play in Israel back in April after the Cavs waived him in January, and he could never stay out of Byron Scott's dog house long enough to get a stable spot in Cleveland's rotation. The Clippers will reportedly give him a look to see if he has improved his game after a short time overseas. |

| Fri May 24 | 09:10 | Andris Biedrins will exercise $9M option | Andris Biedrins | C | Warriors | Free Agent |
To the surprise of nobody, Andris Biedrins will exercise his $9 million player option and remain with the Warriors for the 2013/14 season. |
Biedrins couldn't get a third of that on the open market right now as a free agent, so this was the definition of a no-brainer decision. Biedrins' agent confirmed that he'll pick up the option, and the Warriors are now stuck with him for another season. Still just 27 years old, next season will be the final year of an awful six-year, $54 million deal. |

| Thu May 23 | 20:03 | Stephen Curry already proven to make Team USA | Stephen Curry | PG | Warriors | Free Agent |
Stephen Curry did not receive an invite to USA Basketball minicamp because he has proven himself already, according to Yahoo! Sports. |
In the 2012 Olympics, Team USA got some criticism for not having enough shooting, but that doesn't sound like that will be the case once Curry joins the roster. He'll spend this offseason getting stronger and will be ripe for the picking in the first round of fantasy drafts following his record-breaking season. |

| Thu May 23 | 17:27 | Report: Mavs will target Jack, Bayless as FAs | Jarrett Jack | PG | Hornets | Free Agent |
The Mavericks will be interested in free-agent point guards Jarrett Jack and Jerryd Bayless, a source tells Dwain Price of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. |
Both players were integral parts of their team's playoff success, Jack for the Warriors and Bayless with the Grizzlies, who are down 2-0 to the Spurs. Jack and Bayless are also due hefty raises this offseason with Jack possibly commanding as much as $10 million annually. The Mavs are in desperate need of an upgrade at point guard and could look at Jack or Bayless as fallback options if they fail to land Chris Paul. One thing's for sure, the Mavs' fervent interest in free-agent guards doesn't bode well for incumbent Darren Collison. |

| Thu May 23 | 15:52 | Report: Hawks, Warriors on Howard's FA list | Dwight Howard | C | Magic | Free Agent |
The Hawks and Warriors are among the teams on Dwight Howard's list this summer, a source familiar with his thinking told Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News. |
The other teams on the list include the Lakers, Mavs and Rockets, all of whom we've seen Howard linked to in previous reports. The Hawks have also been mentioned as a potential destination for Howard, but the inclusion of the Warriors is a new one. Unfortunately for both Howard and the Warriors, Golden State's salary cap issues make adding Howard highly unlikely. Expect Howard's list to get narrowed down to two or three feasible destinations as we get closer to free agency. |

Chandler Parsons will be invited to Team USA's mini camp in July, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. |
Parsons made a name for himself this season with his breakout play, and he's proven to be one of the best value contracts in the NBA. Parsons figures to be a key part in Houston's future and he should be even better than he was this season after spending valuable time around a talented pool of players in the offseason. |

| Thu May 23 | 11:31 | Kupchak denies Howard vented about D'Antoni | Dwight Howard | C | Magic | Free Agent |
Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak reiterated that Mike D'Antoni "did not come up" in his meeting with Dwight Howard following Howard's exit interview. |
ESPN Los Angeles reported that Howard specifically complained about D'Antoni, but that doesn't appear to be the case. "Criticism of a coach did not come up," Kupchak said. "Our coach did not come up. I think in general they all felt that there are ways to utilize their talent better going forward. That would include Dwight in that group." Kupchak added that "players don't have to like coaches. They just have to play hard." |

James Jones has no plans to retire after the season. |
"Unless something crazy happens, I'll be back," Jones said in reference to his $1.5 million player option. Why wouldn't he be? He never plays, is on the best team in basketball and can be around LeBron James every day. It's a good job if you can get it. |

| Thu May 23 | 08:39 | Larry Sanders expected to get Team USA invite | Larry Sanders | PF | Bucks | Free Agent |
Larry Sanders is expected to receive an invitation to USA Basketball Select team camp during the summer. |
"Just found out I got selected to work out/try out for the USA Basketball Team this summer!" Sanders tweeted. "Such an amazing honor. Glory be to God." It's quite impressive for a guy who was in summer league last season attempting to prove his worth, but his impressive 2012/13 season put him on the national map. Per the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, an official roster is expected to be announced in early June. |

| Thu May 23 | 00:34 | Birdman makes all seven shots in win | Chris Andersen | C | Nuggets | Free Agent |
Chris Andersen made all seven of his field goal attempts for 16 points to go with five boards, one steal and three blocks in 18 minutes against the Pacers on Wednesday. |
He's been one of the best bargains of the season at just $541K for the Heat and he did a nice job on both ends of the floor with plenty of hustle. Miami was outstanding in getting good shots with 60 points in the paint, which is well above Indiana's regular-season average of 35.5 points per game from that range. The Birdman is shooting an astonishing 82.9 percent from the field in the postseason and has clearly earned his playing time. |

| Wed May 22 | 18:37 | Howard says shoulder, back better with rest | Dwight Howard | C | Magic | Free Agent |
Dwight Howard said on Twitter on Tuesday that his back and shoulder are feeling much better since he's been able to rest them. |
Howard was answering a question from a fan. Unfortunately, he didn't say where he plans to sign this summer because that would've been way too easy. Besides re-upping with the Lakers, Howard has been linked to both the Hawks and the Rockets and the Mavs are reportedly planning to throw the full-court press at him. The summer should allow Howard time to get healthy and the injuries aren't expected to affect his likely max deal. |

| Wed May 22 | 09:02 | Andrew Bogut's mental, physical pain was bad | Andrew Bogut | C | Warriors | Free Agent |
Andrew Bogut (ankle) revealed that the "mental and physical pain" he felt over "the last two or three weeks was getting worse and worse." |
At this point, it's fair to question whether or not Bogut will ever be able to remain healthy for the duration of a full season. "I managed it every day. Every day was a battle, basically, after April," Bogut said. "Every day I had to come in early to get treatment, just to get it right just enough to get back on the court. My whole playoff campaign was that. Some days it worked and some days it didn't." Bogut did say that he's looking forward to using the offseason to get his "ankle right," but we've heard that from the big man previously. Fantasy owners should monitor Bogut's health closely. |

| Wed May 22 | 08:58 | Raptors still looking to move Andrea Bargnani | Andrea Bargnani | C | Raptors | Free Agent |
The Raptors remain interested in trading Andrea Bargnani, according to president Bryan Colangelo. |
"I still would say there's value in Andrea as a player," said Colangelo. "I get the fact that a change of scenery is probably best for all sides. I've publicly acknowledged that but, again, the new guy is going to have to decide how to handle it and there are a few options." Colangelo is referencing the new general manager who has yet to be hired, and we'd bet Bargnani starts next season elsewhere. It's hard to see the Raptors getting anything of real value in return for the former No. 1 overall pick. |

| Wed May 22 | 08:00 | Report: Howard 'torn' between Lakers, Rockets | Dwight Howard | C | Magic | Free Agent |
Dwight Howard is reportedly "torn between the idea" of re-signing with the Lakers or signing with the Rockets. |
If you're already tired of Dwight Howard rumors, you're not alone. We're entering Dwightmare part two and we haven't even entered the first of June. As a reminder, Howard isn't even technically a free agent until the end of June. Howard is torn between "the idea of Laker life or the notion of joining a Houston Rockets club that looks so much more appealing with James Harden & Co. in tow." There will be plenty of reports just like this one in the coming weeks, so strap in because it's going to be a bumpy ride. |
