Rookie second-round pick F Gani Lawal has agreed to contract terms with the Suns, with the announcement of his signing expected to come on Monday.

Because of his athleticism, Lawal was ranked as this year's 13th best rookie by Scouts, Inc., but fell to the Suns at No. 46 because he doesn't shoot well and doesn't excel in any one area. His deal is not guaranteed, but it does give him a better shot at making the squad.
