Thu Dec 27 201218:57Roddy Beaubois sick, likely out Thursday
Roddy Beaubois vomited in the locker room after showing up for Thursday's game and will likely be inactive, according to coach Rick Carlisle.
It sounds like a pretty good reason to sit this one out, but this shouldn't affect your league since Beaubois has no fantasy impact.

Fri Dec 7 201209:34Roddy Beaubois has dislocated finger
Roddy Beaubois was inactive on Thursday night, and is dealing with a dislocated finger.
The once intriguing Beaubois has become irrelevant in Dallas and to fantasy owners. He's back and forth between the active and inactive list, and that's not likely to change any time soon.

Sun Dec 2 201210:33Roddy Beaubois inactive on Saturday
Roddy Beaubois was moved to the Mavericks' inactive list for Saturday's game.
The Mavs' sparkplug guard has been struggling with ankle issues this season, but it seems that he's healthy enough to play if Rick Carlisle wanted to use him. With Derek Fisher in town and Darren Collison shifted to a backup role, the odds of Roddy breaking into the rotation are getting slimmer every day.

Tue Nov 20 201209:58Carlisle concerned about Beaubois' health
Rick Carlisle admitted that he is "really concerned" about the health of Roddy Beaubois.
"He's wearing that big contraption on his ankle now and he's the kind of guy that if he's 5 percent off on his athleticism and quicknesss, it's going to affect his game and it's going to affect guys around him," he said. "Right now, we're going to need him to play in some situations. But if he's not playing as much, we've encouraged him to spend more time on rehab and strengthening."

Tue Nov 20 201202:50Carlisle really concerned for Buckets' health
Roddy Beaubois (ankle) played seven minutes on Monday and didn't register a statistic.
Rick Carlisle spoke about Beaubois before the game, saying he has "been really concerned about his health, to be frank about it." He should be nowhere near fantasy rosters at least until he's healthy.

Mon Nov 19 201220:34Roddy Beaubois loses backup job to DoJo
Roddy Beaubois has lost his backup point guard job to Dominique Jones.
"I've been really concerned about his health, to be frank about it," Carlisle said. "We're going to need him to play in some situations, but if he's not playing as much." Buckets has never really been able to recover from his broken foot a couple seasons ago and can be cut in all leagues. Dominique Jones is only on the radar in very deep leagues.

Fri Nov 16 201223:15Beaubois tweaks his ankle in Friday's game
Roddy Beaubois tweaked his ankle during the first quarter of Friday's loss to the Pacers, and finished with two points, four rebounds, and two assists in 19 minutes.
Beaubois missed all four of his field goal attempts and made two free throws, and as a bit player right now for the Mavs the injury isn't a big factor in fantasy leagues. We'll let you know if the aggravation causes him to miss time.

Sat Nov 10 201203:10Roddy Beaubois plays 14 minutes Friday
Roddy Beaubois played 14 minutes on Friday, coming off a sprained ankle, and had five points, three rebounds and an assist on 2-of-7 shooting.
The fact he took so many shots in just 14 minutes is a plus, but as long as Darren Collison is healthy, it's hard to imagine Buckets having much fantasy value.

Wed Nov 7 201219:18Roddy Beaubois not likely for Wednesday
Roddy Beaubois is not likely to return from his ankle injury on Wednesday as he remains day-to-day.
That just means more minutes for Darren Collison and O.J. Mayo, but Beaubois will be worth taking a look at once he's fully healthy and back in the lineup for the Mavs.

Mon Nov 5 201220:17Beaubois (ankle) out on Monday vs. POR
Roddy Beaubois will not play on Monday against the Blazers due to his sprained left ankle.
Beaubois' absence has cleared things up a bit for Vince Carter, though we doubt Roddy's return will hurt Carter too much. When he returns, he will own a significant role backing up both guard slots for the Mavs.

Roddy Beaubois (ankle) will be a game-time decision on Monday against the Blazers.
Beaubois sprained his ankle on Friday, but the good news is that it wasn't serious and Beaubois should be back before too long even if he doesn't play on Monday.

Roddy Beaubois hit 4-of-8 shots and racked up 11 points, five assists, a steal and a 3-pointer in 17 minutes off the bench on Tuesday.

Sat Oct 20 201222:46Beaubois returns to Mavs bench, plays 17 min
Rodrigue Beaubois returned to action on Saturday with three points, two rebounds and four assists in 17 minutes off the bench.
Roddy seems to be settling into his fate as a backup chance-of-pace guard in the NBA -- he lacks the playmaking skills necessary to be a primary PG, and lacks the size to routinely defend the league's elite SGs. He should be left on the waiver wire for the time being.

Roddy Beaubois went through a full-contact practice for the first time on Thursday since spraining his ankle.
Beaubois came out of the session feeling good, and if he can practice in full again on Friday, he might be available for Saturday's preseason game. The speedster will have to show us he can stay healthy and consistently contribute to be relevant in standard fantasy leagues.
