Thu Aug 30 201220:52Jonas Jerebko's ankle appears OK
Jonas Jerebko's ankle injury didn't appear to limit him in Sweden's win over Bulgaria on Thursday.
Jerebko scored 13 points with five assists, five steals, and four rebounds, albeit against inferior competition. He needs to come out of preseason action with a starting job before owners should consider drafting him in standard leagues.

Tue Apr 24 201206:53Jonas Jerebko doesn't get off the bench
Jonas Jerebko picked up a DNP-Coach's Decision on Monday.
The timing is odd considering Lawrence Frank said he wanted to get a look at Jerebko playing small forward, but apparently the Pistons wanted to see the underwhelming Austin Daye in action. Daye had 11 points on Monday, but picked up five fouls despite playing just 18.5 minutes.

Wed Apr 18 201208:01Jonas Jerebko okay with move to small forward
Jonas Jerebko said it was a "mutual agreement" to give the small forward position a try.
Although Jerebko's natural position is a power forward, but he was drafted as a small forward and Lawrence Frank wants to see how he fares there. "I'm not complaining," Jerebko said. "At the end of (the) day I just want to be on that court, and I really don't care if it's the 3 or 4." Jerebko had 14 points and four rebounds in 21 minutes on Tuesday.

Tue Apr 17 201206:41Jonas Jerebko to see time at small forward
Lawrence Frank plans to play Jonas Jerebko at small forward.
Jerebko's natural position is power forward, but Frank wants to tinker with the lineup to see what he's got to work with for next season. Regardless, Jerebko isn't on the fantasy radar with such a short time left in the regular season.

Mon Apr 16 201214:06Jonas Jerebko takes a DNP-CD
Jonas Jerebko was a DNP-CD in Sunday's loss to the Bulls.
The Pistons' second unit had struggled to score against the Bulls' reserves in earlier matchups, so coach Lawrence Frank decided to change things up. Charlie Villanueva came on and provided a spark with 11 points in 12 first-half minutes. It's unclear if the rotation change will stick, but Frank clearly has little loyalty to Jerebko.

Sat Mar 31 201223:54Jerebko scores 18 points off Detroit bench
Jonas Jerebko scored 18 points in 26 minutes on Saturday, making 8-of-11 FGs with five rebounds, three assists, one steal and zero turnovers.
Jerebko even canned a 3-pointer, but he has yet to make significant progress in his position battle with Jason Maxiell (six points in 27 minutes). Don't adjust your expectations based upon this one rather anomalous performance.

Tue Mar 27 201202:36Jerebko grabs season-high 12 rebounds
Jonas Jerebko grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds on Monday, and also added nine points on 3-of-5 shooting with one steal in 31 minutes off the bench.
Jerebko is still playing just under 24 minutes per game in his last seven contests, and his 9.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steals over that span don't scream pick me up. His solid shooting (52 percent from the field, 93 percent from the line) has made him a borderline value, though, so just keep an eye on him to see if he can keep it up and also pick it up.

Thu Mar 22 201202:48Jonas Jerebko quietly coming on
Jonas Jerebko had 12 points, six rebounds and a 3-pointer in 26 minutes off the Pistons bench on Wednesday.
Jerebko is quietly heating up, scoring between 10 and 14 points in six of his last eight games, and averaging 12 points and five boards over his last three. Those aren't mind blowing numbers, but he should be on your radar in case he keeps improving on those numbers.

Sun Mar 18 201220:15Jerebko scores 14 points on Sunday
Jonas Jerebko has another good outing on Sunday, posting 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting, while also adding eight rebounds, a steal and a block.
Meanwhile, Jason Maxeill only managed two points and three rebounds on Sunday. Jerebko has now put together two nice lines in a row, and his minutes are steadily increasing. However, it would be wise to wait and see if his strong play continues before moving on him.

Sat Mar 17 201202:37Jonas Jerebko returns from bout with flu
Jonas Jerebko returned from a bout with the flu and had 11 points, two rebounds and a 3-pointer on four-of-5 shooting.
We keep waiting for him to get hot and break out, but it just hasn't happened. Jason Maxiell or Brandon Bass are much better options right now.

Jonas Jerebko (flu) will "give it a go" tonight against the Kings.
Jerebko missed shootaround earlier on Wednesday, but is apparently feeling well enough to at least try and suit up.

Wed Mar 14 201214:58Jonas Jerebko iffy for Wed. w/ illness
Jonas Jerebko missed Wednesday's shootaround due to illness, and his status vs. the Kings is uncertain.
Jerebko hasn't played more than 25 minutes in a game since Feb. 8, as Jason Maxiell is absorbing more minutes at the PF position. If you have him on your roster, make sure he's not in your active lineups.

Fri Feb 17 201223:23Jonas Jerebko scores 11 in Pistons win
Jonas Jerebko, who had just one rebound in eight minutes on Wednesday, bounced back for 11 points and five boards in 20 minutes on Friday.
He'll need to start to have fantasy value, but Lawrence Frank appears to be more comfortable running with Jason Maxiell (six points, seven boards) as the starter for now.

Thu Feb 16 201201:20Jerebko beat up; plays just eight minutes
Jonas Jerebko is reportedly "beat up," and finished with just one rebound in eight minutes on Wednesday against the Celtics.
Jerebko had been producing nicely lately, but this is likely enough to send owners in standard leagues running for the exits. If your waiver wire is looking bare we'd be inclined to see if he can get healed up, but in most cases owners can probably do better.

Sat Feb 11 201202:09Jerebko scores 20 points off the bench
Jonas Jerebko scored 20 points off the bench on Friday against the Nets, hitting 7-of-13 shots from the field (including a three) with four rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 25 minutes.
Jerebko is playing well enough to be owned right now, but coming off the bench and being a borderline guy are a couple of the concerns we have.

Tue Jan 31 201223:12Jerebko leads Pistons in scoring in 15 min.
Jonas Jerebko came off the bench and hit all four of his shots and a 3-pointer to lead the Pistons with 15 points despite playing just 15 minutes in Tuesday's ugly loss to the Knicks.
He also had four rebounds, and only Vernon Macklin played fewer minutes tonight. Maybe this will earn Jerebko more minutes, but for now he's not worth using in fantasy leagues.

Tue Jan 24 201201:10Jerebko scores 11 points off the bench
Jonas Jerebko scored 11 points off the bench on Monday against the Thunder, hitting 4-of-9 shots from the field (including a three) with five rebounds and two steals in 24 minutes.
There was some murmur about the possibility of Jerebko starting over Ben Wallace, but it never materialized. Until that happens owners aren't going to feel comfortable adding or holding Jerebko in many cases, because his borderline production coming off the bench isn't a safe play in 12-team leagues.

Mon Jan 23 201219:17Jerebko could start on Monday vs. Thunder
Coach Lawrence Frank is thinking about starting Jonas Jerebko over Ben Wallace on Monday against the Thunder.
Frank is reportedly looking for more offensive firepower, which isn't exactly shocking. Jerebko has been a guy that has been added and dropped in 12-team leagues a bunch, and is still worth a look with it looking like we could get an announcement in moments that he will start Monday's game.
