Tue Nov 5 201320:00Anthony Randolph unlikely to play Tuesday
Anthony Randolph (ankle) is unlikely to play on Tuesday.
The Nuggets are essentially down to their fourth-string small forward and will start Jordan Hamilton against the Spurs and Kawhi Leonard. Randolph shouldn't be out for too long, but he can drive fantasy owners crazy with his Ant-Rand moments from time to time.

Sun Nov 3 201315:02Anthony Randolph has a sprained ankle
Anthony Randolph did not practice on Sunday due to a sprained left ankle.
The Nuggets are running out of options at small forward. Danilo Gallinari (knee) doesn't have a timetable to return, Wilson Chandler (hamstring) is still out, and now this. They haven't been playing Quincy Miller and Jordan Hamilton as DNP-CDs, but that might have to change should Randolph need to miss time. Nate Robinson and Randy Foye also saw minutes together in a smaller lineup. There just isn't enough info to make a speculative add.

Wed Oct 30 201310:32Anthony Randolph expected to start at SF
Anthony Randolph is expected to start at SF for the Nuggets on Wednesday.
Wilson Chandler (hamstring) has been ruled out, and with Danilo Gallinari (knee) on the shelf the Nuggets will temporarily hand the SF job to AntRand. The Nuggets only play twice this week, unfortunately, which limits Randolph's appeal as long as Chandler remains day-to-day.

Tue Oct 22 201312:32Anthony Randolph impressive in preseason
Brian Shaw has been impressed by Anthony Randolph throughout training camp and the preseason, and he even praised Randolph's shooting range.
"Anthony Randolph ... most people probably wouldn't believe it, but he's probably been our most consistent outside shooter," Shaw said. "There's a logjam at our 'big' position, but he's one of the guys I would say is making the most of his opportunity ... He can basically play the three, four and some five in certain situations. His length can bother people defensively." Although it's nice to see Randolph succeeding in his sixth NBA season, the "log jam" quote explains why he should go undrafted in average leagues.

Fri Apr 26 201309:04Anthony Randolph to see more minutes now?
Anthony Randolph, who had 14 points, a rebound and a steal in just 10 minutes vs. the Warriors in Game 2, could be in line for more minutes in Friday's Game 3.
"He was by far our best big guy against the zone," George Karl said. "He played very well in his minutes. Trying to give four big guys minutes is very difficult, but you never know." Randolph could go off at any moment if he gets extended run, but he's equally likely to do something that makes JaVale McGee look like a fundamental tactician.

Wed Apr 24 201301:46Anthony Randolph scores 14 points in loss
Anthony Randolph was efficient in his 10 minutes of action during Tuesday's Game 2 loss to Golden State, shooting 5-of-6 from the field for 14 points with one board and one steal.
The Warriors traded away Anthony Randolph to get David Lee from the Knicks back in 2010, which changed the course of fantasy basketball history. Kidding aside, Randolph played just six minutes in Game 1 and it was a little surprising to see him get some time at center tonight. It was fun to have him remind everyone of the good times, but his best days are clearly behind him.

Wed Apr 17 201322:37Anthony Randolph double-doubles in finale
Anthony Randolph had 11 points, 14 rebounds, a steal and three blocks on 4-of-5 shooting in 22 minutes of Wednesday's finale.
With Kenneth Faried out with a sprained ankle, Randolph had a few nice games near the end of the season and could get some extra playoff minutes if Faried remains out. But we've seen this act from Ant-Rand in the past, and you shouldn't be fooled into thinking he'll play like this at the start of next season.

Sun Apr 14 201320:35Anthony Randolph scores 18 pts w/ Faried out
Anthony Randolph had 18 points, six rebounds, two steals and one block in 20 minutes off the bench on Sunday, taking advantage of Kenneth Faried's departure with an ankle injury.
JaVale McGee also played well with 10 points and three blocks in 17 minutes, and both guys will get a boost if Faried (who left in a wheelchair) misses games on Monday (at Milwaukee) and Wednesday (vs. Phoenix).

Fri Mar 22 201300:20Anthony Randolph takes some of Faried's mins.
Anthony Randolph played 21 minutes against the Sixers on Thursday, scoring seven points with three boards, three steals and one block.
He took some of Kenneth Faried's (eight points, seven boards and one block in 26 minutes) playing time, but this is something George Karl has done before when his team is shorthanded. Randolph has his blips on the radar in his career, but he will undoubtedly fall off soon enough. If you're considering picking up Ant-Rand after this, we hope you're enjoying your first year playing fantasy basketball.

Wed Feb 13 201308:33Karl praises Anthony Randolph after big night
George Karl praised Anthony Randolph after his big night on Tuesday, saying that Randolph "was the surprise."
Randolph had 16 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks in just 27 minutes, and we've all seen what Randolph is capable of doing in small spurts throughout his career. "We've seen it in practice all year, and today he got the chance to show it," said Ty Lawson. The Nuggets were without Andre Iguodala, Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari on Tuesday, so Randolph can be monitored from the waiver wire.

Tue Feb 12 201321:35Anthony Randolph scores 16 in big line vs TOR
Anthony Randolph exploded in 27 minutes off the bench with 16 points, seven rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks against the Raptors on Tuesday.
This was quite a microcosm of Ant-Rand's career. He had three turnovers in transition, suffered a minor sprained ankle on a missed dunk, provided a couple huge defensive plays down the stretch and he put up a nice stat line in the process. The Nuggets were extremely shorthanded and most of their players shouldn't miss much time, so no sane person should consider adding Ant-Rand unless it's a spot-start on a busy 12-game Wednesday.

Wed Jan 16 201323:52Anthony Randolph has nice game in 16 minutes
Anthony Randolph had season highs with eight points, five rebounds, three steals and three blocks in 16 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday.
Classic Ant-Rand. He's on the Mount Rushmore of fantasy teases over the past decade along with Austin Daye, Stromile Swift and Tyrus Thomas. Randolph belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.

Fri Dec 21 201201:30Anthony Randolph returns from illness
Anthony Randolph returned from his illness and had four points, one board and one block on Thursday.
Randolph has only played in seven games this year and chances are he won't be driving owners crazy. He has no fantasy value.

Tue Dec 18 201220:10Anthony Randolph (illness) out on Tuesday
Anthony Randolph (illness) will not play against the Spurs on Tuesday.
Ant-Rand played seven minutes after two DNP-CDs and he's not on the radar in really any league.

Sat Nov 17 201219:54Anthony Randolph out w/ ankle injury
Anthony Randolph (ankle) was not available for the Nuggets on Saturday.
Randolph has made one five-minute cameo so far this season, so his availability has no impact on fantasy rosters.

Sat Oct 27 201202:18Ant-Rand nears a double-double on Friday
Anthony Randolph scored 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds and two blocks in just under 20 minutes in Friday's exhibition loss.
This is a typical Randolph line, teasing owners while being useless because he has fallen way off the radar, as usual. He had a nice outing a few weeks back, and we haven't heard from him since. Here's guessing the same thing happens this time.

Mon Oct 8 201209:14Anthony Randolph impressive in debut
Anthony Randolph was impressive in Saturday's preseason debut for the Nuggets when he had eight points, seven boards and two blocks in 18 minutes.
We've lost count of how many times Randolph has burned us in the past, so it's going to take a lot more than one nice preseason stint for us to jump on the bandwagon. As usual, just keep an eye on one of the biggest fantasy teases ever.
