Bargnani will skip Monday's preseason exhibition game against Fenerbahce Ulker reports.
Considering the level of competition involved in Monday's game, it's not a big surprise that Bargnani will skip the contest. There's no indication that the hamstring injury is severe in nature, so it likely won't cost him any time in the regular season unless something suggests otherwise.
Sun Aug 30 201514:06Bargnani's ankle injury not serious
Bargnani's ankle injury is not serious, and he will play with the Italian national team at Eurobasket, Sportando reports.
Bargnani injured the ankle in Friday's game, leaving in the first quarter, but he was expected to undergo an MRI on Saturday to check the severity of the injury. While the report doesn't mention an MRI being taken, it sounds like the injury is a minor thing and that Bargnani will be available when Eurobasket games kick off September 5th.
Sat Aug 29 201516:30Andrea Bargnani:
Bargnani left Saturday's international game against Georgia with an ankle injury and did not return, Sportando reports. He will undergo an MRI on Saturday.
Bargnani suffered the apparent ankle injury in the first quarter of Italy's game against Georgia. The veteran big man does not have a major history of ankle injuries, but this is a bit of a concern for the new Brooklyn Net. Saturday's MRI should give more clarity on Bargnani's status moving forward.
Sun Jul 12 201518:20Andrea Bargnani: Signs With Nets
Bargnani signed a one-year contract with the Nets for the veteran's minimum with a player option for a second year, Tim Bontemps of the New York Post reports.
Brooklyn has already solidified its starting big men by re-signing Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young, so Bargnani is likely to work off the bench when the team is fully healthy. The 29-year-old has been solid in recent years, but remains injury prone and unlikely to handle a full season's slate of games. Combining that with a bench role severely limits his upside, but he should still be valuable for a shallow Nets team. He had previously been negotiating with the Kings, but must have liked the fit more in Brooklyn.
Sat Jul 11 201522:18Bargnani in advanced contract negotiations with Kings
Bargnani is in advanced contract negotiations with the Kings, Marc Stein of ESPN reports.
Bargnani played in only 29 games last season, but still proved to be a valuable member of the Knicks as he averaged 14.8 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 45.4 percent from the floor. He has not played in more than 42 games in a season since 2010-11 due to various injuries.

Bargnani, who is an unrestricted free agent this summer, said he plans to remain in the NBA and would like to stay with the Knicks, Sportando reports. "I am happy with the Knicks," Bargnani said. "I love the city and the organization. There is an important project here."
Bargnani's career has been derailed by injuries over the past several seasons, and he has not played more than 42 games since 2010-11. Due to various injuries, the former No. 1 overall pick only saw time in 29 games this season but showed that he can still be a productive player, averaging 14.8 points and 4.4 rebounds while shooting 45.4 percent from the floor. Given his history of inconsistency, Bargnani is not likely to receive a major offer in free agency, but that doesn't mean he won't generate considerable interest. The Knicks are yet to indicate whether or not they'll entertain the possibility of bringing Bargnani back on a new contract.

Bargnani played just 29 games (22 starts) due to various injuries during the 2014-15 NBA season, when he averaged 14.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 27.1 minutes per game for the Knicks.
Bargnani made his season debut on New Year's Eve, but quickly followed a hamstring injury with a calf problem that sidelined him until mid-February. Later on, Bargnani missed the Knicks' final four games due to illness and also reported to playing with a torn ligament in his left thumb during the season. While the much-maligned former No. 1 pick hasn't played more than 42 games since the 2010-11 campaign, this year his efficiency improved thanks to attempting far fewer three-point shots. To that point, Bargnani shot just 1.4 triples per game, a dramatic decrease from his 3.5 career average. In doing so, a more selective Bargnani shot 45.4 percent from the field and finished second on the Knicks in scoring average. However, with his hefty contract now expired, it's unclear where Bargnani's future lies next season. Whenever he lands, staying healthy will be a key ingredient toward providing help to fantasy owners.

Bargnani (illness) will not play in Wednesday's season finale against Detroit, ESPN.com's Ian Begley reports.
Bargnani will finish the season with four consecutive missed games. Jason Smith, Lou Amundson, and Cole Aldrich all figure to absorb Bargnani's minutes.

Bargnani (illness) will not play Friday against the Bucks.
Bargnani has been playing through a torn ligament in his thumb of late, but it's an illness that will keep him sidelined Friday. Consider him questionable for Saturday's game, while Cole Aldrich moves into the starting lineup Friday.
Wed Apr 8 201518:51Bargnani playing through torn ligament in left thumb
Bargnani has been playing through a torn ligament in his left thumb, and he'll continue to do so through the end of the season, the New York Daily News reports.
Bargnani apparently suffered the injury last week, and he plans to don a protective splint on his finger for the final five games of the season. While the games are ultimately meaningless for the Knicks, Bargnani will use the final week-and-a-half as an audition, of sorts, hoping to prove he's a dedicated, productive player before he becomes an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

Bargnani struggled from the field Friday against the Wizards, posting just two points (1-9 FG) and one rebound in 18 minutes of action.
Bargnani had been fairly consistent over recent play, and his performance Friday was arguably one of his worst over the past month. He's hopeful to bounce back over the next few days, so don't rush to drop him based on this. Still, he doesn't contribute much in defensive categories, which means owners shouldn't be expecting too much from him other than scoring, a couple of rebounds, and strong free-throw percentages.

Bargnani scored 22 points (9-16 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with five rebounds and one block in 27 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Nets.
Bargnani is scoring at a pretty consistent rate of late. He is also adding a three and block per game over his last five games meaning he should be owned in nearly all leagues.

Bargnani posted 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two blocks in 39 minutes of action Friday against the Celtics.
Bargnani is averaging 16.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 blocks over the last five games. Putting his horrendous injury-plagued fantasy history aside, Bargnani has been -- dare we say it -- extremely consistent this past month. He's averaging 15.7 points and 3.6 rebounds on 46 percent shooting from the field and 82 percent shooting from the line in March. Furthermore, he's had just two games where he failed to hit double-digits in scoring. He has his share of deficiencies in other categories, but the fact remains -- he's worth owning in standard leagues while he's healthy.

Bargnani posted 17 points, six rebounds, two assists, and one block in 27 minutes of action Friday against the Sixers.
Bargnani has been extremely consistent in the month of March, averaging 16.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. He's failed to hit double-digits in scoring just once, and he's surprisingly shooting a solid 48 percent from the field and 78 percent from the line. That being said, he has deficiencies on the defense end, but he's still worth owning in standard leagues.

Bargnani recorded his second double-double this season, compiling 16 points (7-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three blocks, and two assists in 31 minutes.
Since joining the starting lineup, Bargnani is averaging 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.9 blocks, and 0.5 three-pointers in 31.0 minutes per game. His fantasy value has been salvaged by his scoring propensity, but the rest of the numbers, especially rebounds, have been mediocre at best. He's a soft hold until the shooting percentages regress to his career norms.

Bargnani recorded his second double-double this season, compiling 16 points (7-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three blocks, and two assists in 31 minutes.

Bargnani scored 18 points (8-14 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with three rebounds, two assists and two blocks in the loss against the Warriors on Saturday
Bargnani has now scored in double figures in six straight games, and hit the 20-point mark in three out of those six. He doesn't do much else besides score and shoot three's, but he's producing at around a top 100 level over the past month. Bargnani is a decent utility play in standard leagues.

Bargnani scored a team-high 21 points (10-14 FG, 1-1 FT), grabbed five rebounds, and blocked two shots Saturday against the Pacers.
Bargnani fouled out with just over three minutes remaining, and the Knicks could only muster four points the rest of the game. He also played stifling defense on Roy Hibbert, limiting him to 0-of-6 shooting. Since joining the starting lineup, Bargnasty is shooting 55 percent from the field and 57 percent from beyond the arc, both career-highs by a sizeable margin. He may not provide much aside from scoring, but he's the only capable offensive threat on the Knicks peforming at a comparably high level.

Bargnani scored 25 points (10-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with four rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Pacers.
After a miserable three point performance against the Kings on Tuesday that likely had the fantasy owners who'd picked him up cursing his name, Bargnani bounced back with a big night on Wednesday. Il Mago's now scored at least 17 points in four of his last five games, and given the lack of other options in the Knicks' offense, it's time to start treating his resurgence seriously.

Bargnani started and scored 25 points (10-20 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT) while adding 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block in 36 minutes during Friday's overtime game against the Pistons.
Bargnani moved into the starting lineup over a healthy Jason Smith Friday. The stats were a little inflated because of the two overtime periods, but it was an undeniably great game for the veteran. He has performed well since returning to action earlier this month, and his steady increase in playing time carries with it an increase in his fantasy value. Barnani should probably be owned in very deep leagues, and he is making an interesting case for getting looked at in some standard sized leagues as well.
