Steve Mills, who has been running the New York Knicks' front office since Phil Jackson departed last month, might be landing the job on a long-term basis.Knicks owner James Dolan is going ahead with his plan to have Mills remain as permanent team president, the New York Post reported Tuesday.Mills was in charge of the team's front office for a few months before Jackson was hired, but he was demoted when Jackson was brought on board.He became the interim head of the front office after Jackson left with the belief that someone would be brought in from outside to fill Jackson's shoes.
