Boozer (triceps) did not practice Tuesday but is considered probable to play Wednesday, Mike Trudell of Lakers.com reports.
Boozer sustained a bruised triceps in Monday's loss to the Suns - the Lakers' fifth straight defeat - but it appears he's sitting out practice only as a precaution. Barring a setback, expect Boozer to be on the floor Wednesday in New Orleans.

Boozer scored 18 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 FT) and snagged eight rebounds Friday in a loss to the Mavericks, playing 21 minutes off the bench.
Boozer has actually been a better fantasy option since being moved to the bench. In his nine previous games coming in with the second unit, Boozer averaged just under two points and over two rebounds more per game than in his 19 starts.

Boozer led the Lakers in scoring Tuesday night with 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-6 FT). He added nine rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes off the bench as the Lakers beat the Warriors 115-105.
Boozer continues to thrive in his new role coming off the bench. He is averaging 14.6 points and nine rebounds in 25.6 minutes in his last five games. He played more minutes than starter Ed Davis on Tuesday but it seems as though Boozer will continue to be a sub.

Boozer posted a double-double in 25 minutes Monday against the Pacers as he scored 13 points (3-8 FG, 7-10 FT) to go along with 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Boozer's move to the bench seems to be suiting him as he has posted three straight double-doubles. Ed Davis has does nothing to overly impress in his starting role, but Boozer may continue to come off of the bench just because he has performed well since taking over that role.

Boozer scored 22 points (10-14 FG, 2-3 FT) with 13 rebounds, both season highs, and added two assists in 27 minutes Sunday.
Since his demotion to the bench in favor of Ed Davis, Boozer has come alive, averaging 15.8 points and 10.3 rebounds in 27 minutes a game. Davis is struggling and Boozer is excelling in their new roles and Boozer is still valuable in 12 team leagues. If he was dropped in your league, he's worth a look.

Boozer scored 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-6 FT) and added nine rebounds, one assist and one steal in 28 minutes of play against the Kings on Tuesday.
This is a nice line for Boozer who is coming off the bench for the Lakers. There may be some value to be had here if he continues this type of production. If you are in need of some production in points and rebounds, this may be a sneaky grab for some owners, as many owners have dumped him after the news of him moving to a bench role.
Mon Dec 8 201412:36Boozer will likely remain in bench role for next 10 to 15 games
Boozer will likely remain in a bench role for the next 10 to 15 games, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Boozer was replaced by Ed Davis in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Pelicans and finished with 12 points and six boards in 23 minutes. Coach Byron Scott said he plans to use the same lineup for the next 10 to 15 contests to give him a larger sample size to analyze, so Boozer is expected to remain the backup to Davis for the foreseeable future. While his removal from the starting five certainly isn't a positive, from a fantasy perspective, his minutes load probably won't decrease significantly.

Boozer scored 12 points (6-12 FG) with six rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes off the bench Sunday.
Even though Boozer moved to the bench behind Ed Davis, his production was right in line with his season averages of 12.4 points and 6.6 rebounds in 26 minutes. Even in a bench role, expect Boozer to give similar production, but if you are looking to move on from the much-maligned big man, there are certainly plenty reasons to go in another direction.
Sun Dec 7 201414:56Boozer will come off bench Sunday against Pelicans
Boozer will come off the bench Sunday against the Pelicans.
Boozer is currently having the worst statistical season of his career and will give way to Ed Davis in the starting five. However, Boozer is averaging 26.3 minutes per game this season and could still be in line to see around that same total in a role of the bench Sunday, and moving forward.

Boozer scored 18 points (9-15 FG) with nine rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes during Sunday's OT win over the Raptors.
It looks like he's finally feeling close to 100 percent after his bout of shoulder soreness. Boozer is capable of providing consistent 20-and-10 production when he gets on a roll, so if he heats up take advantage while you can.

Boozer returned to the starting lineup Wednesday against the Grizzlies after sitting out Sunday's loss to the Nuggets with a sore left shoulder, but struggled, scoring just four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 FT) with six rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes.
Owners of Boozer will be hoping that the poor showing is more to do with the shoulder than anything else, as this pedestrian line was his worst performance of the season. For the season, Boozer is averaging 12.6 points and 6.4 rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field and really only contributes in those three categories. If coach Byron Scott were to make a change to the starting lineup and Boozer was demoted, his fantasy value would evaporate in most formats.
Wed Nov 26 201414:57Carlos Boozer: (Shoulder) Will Start Wednesday
Boozer (shoulder) will start Wednesday against the Grizzlies, ESPN Radio Los Angeles reports.
Boozer was considered a candidate to play Wednesday, and it now appears that he will indeed do so. With his return, Ed Davis will move back to the bench, with Boozer likely stealing a good chunk of his minutes. It's unclear if Boozer will be 100 percent, but he has averaged 13.3 points and 6.5 boards in 28 minutes this season.
Wed Nov 26 201407:30Boozer (shoulder) could return Wednesday against Grizzlies
Boozer (shoulder) could return Wednesday against the Grizzlies, with Lakers coach Byron Scott sounding "optimistic" about Boozer's chances to play, Eric Pincus of The Los Angeles Times reports.
Boozer did not practice Monday, and this is certainly no guarantee that he'll play Wednesday, but it's certainly good news for owners. Boozer has averaged 13.3 points on 49 percent shooting this season with the Lakers and has pulled down 6.5 rebounds.

Boozer (shoulder) did not practice Monday due to soreness in his shoulder.
Boozer was held out of Saturday's practice and did not play in Sunday's overtime loss to the Nuggets. The injury doesn't look to be anything serious, but Boozer should still be considered questionable to play Wednesday against Memphis until the team says otherwise. Ed Davis (ankle) got the start in Boozer's place Sunday, and that will likely be the case again if Boozer is unable to go.
Sun Nov 23 201420:19Boozer (shoulder) will not play Sunday against Nuggets
Boozer (shoulder) will not play Sunday against the Nuggets, Mike Trudell of Lakers.com reports.
Boozer, who missed practice Saturday, will miss his first game of the season due to shoulder soreness. Ed Davis will get the start in his place, and Robert Sacre could see increased minutes off the bench.
Sat Nov 22 201416:59Boozer (shoulder) did not practice Saturday
Boozer (shoulder) did not practice Saturday, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
It doesn't sound as if Boozer is in any real danger of missing Sunday's game against the Nuggets, as his bout of shoulder soreness is not believed to be a serious issue. The 33-year-old turned in a pair of double-doubles earlier in the week but recorded just one rebound in 20 minutes Friday against Dallas.

Boozer scored 12 points (5-15 FG, 2-3 FT), with 13 rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Rockets.
Boozer has posted back-to-back double-double's currently, and he seems to be finding his role in this Lakers' offense. If he continues to play at this level then he'll be an interesting fantasy option.

Boozer posted 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes during the Lakers'107-102 loss versus the Grizzlies on Tuesday.
It was arguably Boozer's best showing of the season, and had he not fouled out he'd have seen more playing time. Though coach Byron Scott recently called Boozer out for his defense, the Lakers simply lack the depth with Julius Randle (leg) out for the season to keep Boozer from seeing steady minutes, and he'll likely remain a decent option in most leagues so long as he's playing close to 30 minutes per game.
Tue Nov 4 201406:28Boozer called out by coach Byron Scott for defensive work
Boozer, who was known as a defensive liability during his time in Chicago, was called out by coach Byron Scott for his defensive work, InsideSoCal.com reports.
Although Scott said "He (Boozer) know he can play better and I expect him to play better", Scott also added that he won't make any changes to the lineup unless problems persists after 15-20 games, meaning Boozer will remain the starting power forward over Ed Davis, who has been outplaying the veteran so far this season. Boozer should still be held onto in most leagues until he gets comfortable in the Lakers' system.

Boozer scored 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-3 FT) with seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal in just 27 minutes Tuesday as the starting power forward.
With Julius Randle (tibia) now sidelined for several months, Boozer's name will be inked into the starting lineup. Ed Davis and Ryan Kelly (hamstring) will be his backups, but Boozer should see a heavy dose of minutes and is a must-own player in all but the shallowest of leagues.
