Indiana made a conscious effort to feed Roy Hibbert on the post, but the Bulls' veteran center held up defensively and Hibbert finished with 18 points on 8-of-18 shooting. Noah may need a few more games off, given the chronic nature of his injury and the Bulls' need to have him healthy for the playoffs, but Mohammed's upside is too limited to rely on him in average leagues.

Coach Scott Brooks said that Nazr Mohammed will start at center in Wednesday's Game 2 if Kendrick Perkins (hip) is out.

Brooks always keeps his rotations intact, so Nick Collison would continue to come off the bench despite the talent/production edge on Mohammed. Perkins appears headed for a true game-time call after aggravating his injury in Game 1.

He came in averaging just three points and four rebounds in eight games, so Saturday's line is simply a fluke.

Nazr Mohammed wrote on Saturday that the owners' latest proposal is "worse than the last offer," and is "so bad that it amazes [him] that the league would bring this to the table."

Danny Granger and other players have voiced similar sentiments, though a writer for NBA.com believes that the majority of players would be in favor of accepting the deal. The players' biggest issues with the offer seem to revolve around 'systems issues' that would limit their choices and reduce demand for free agents, but at least the 50-50 BRI split seems stable.

Mohammed is a classic example of a player that will always have more value in real life than he will in fantasy. He's a nice insurance policy to Kendrick Perkins as the Thunder enter the postseason. Perk had just two points, seven rebounds and a block in 21 minutes.

The rest of his stat line was a bit disappointing (two rebounds, an assists, and a steal). Hopefully that's all you were hoping to see out of him.
