Thu Mar 22 201218:38Kyrylo Fesenko to sign with Pacers
Pacers will sign C Kyrylo Fesenko for the rest of the season, a source tells SI.com's Sam Amick.
With Jeff Foster (back) forced into retirement, the Pacers are desperate for help up front. Fesenko is a monstrous 7'1/280, but has been on the street all season. Last year, he averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 53 games for the Jazz.

Mon Mar 5 201212:59Bucks interest in Fesenko wanes
The Bucks' interest in signing free agent C Kyrylo Fesenko has "waned," according to the Journal-Times.
In the absence of Andrew Bogut, the Bucks have made due with Drew Gooden and Larry Sanders at center. Fesenko wouldn't be an upgrade.

Fri Feb 17 201208:37Bucks hoping to meet with Kyrylo Fesenko
The Bucks are hoping to meet with Kyrylo Fesenko next week.
Milwaukee is desperate for size with Andrew Bogut (ankle) out indefinitely and Drew Gooden nursing a wrist injury, and Fesenko claims to be 100 percent recovered from his knee injury. It's hard to envision him making a very significant impact, as there is a reason he's still available this late into the season.

Tue Feb 14 201213:37Bucks showing interest in Kyrylo Fesenko
The Bucks are interested in free agent Kyrylo Fesenko.
The team has had discussions about working him out, but nothing is imminent. With Andrew Bogut (ankle) likely out for the season, the Bucks need some depth beneath the basket.

Mon Feb 6 201210:05Fesenko, Dampier, Gadzuric on Hawks' list
The Hawks have discussed signing free agents Kyrylo Fesenko, Erick Dampier and Dan Gadzuric, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
With Jason Collins (elbow) out two weeks and Al Horford (pectoral) sidelined until April, the Hawks are dreadfully thin up front. They're scraping the bottom of the free agent big-man barrel.

Fri Dec 30 201115:59Warriors take pass on Fesenko
Contrary to earlier reports, the Warriors have decided not to sign center Kyrylo Fesenko.
It was indicated earlier in the week that Golden State had signed the former Utah big man, but apparently the decided to "go in a different direction." Fesenko was recruited by Dallas, Toronto and Miami before Golden State, so perhaps one of the other teams will jump back into the mix considering that he is still a free agent. Andris Biedrins and Kwame Brown will continue to hold down the middle for the Warriors.

Tue Dec 27 201117:43Source: Fesenko agrees with GSW for one year
Kyrylo Fesenko has agreed to a one-year deal with the Warriors according to Sam Amick of SI.com.
Fesenko actually showed some promise in Utah and was relatively coveted in free agency. His knee injury will keep him sidelined in the short-term, and his addition will complicate an already messy center situation including Andris Biedrins and Kwame Brown. One thing owners will want to consider after the acquisitions of Fesenko and Brown is that the Warriors may be moving away from the running game.

Sat Dec 24 201117:30Mavs join pursuit of Kyrylo Fesenko
The Mavericks have made an offer to free agent center Kyrylo Fesenko, joining the Raptors, Heat and Warriors.
Fesenko is coming off knee surgery and isn't likely to be at full strength until halfway through the season, and fantasy owners can safely ignore him.

Fri Dec 23 201116:08Raptors interested in C Kyrylo Fesenko
Sources tell Marc Stein of ESPN that Toronto has joined the list of teams bidding for free-agent center Kyrylo Fesenko.
The Raptors join the Heat and Warriors as teams showing interest in the former Jazz center. Fesenko is coming off surgery to repair a torn meniscus in September, so any slim fantasy value he may end up with wouldn't be until the second half of the season anyways. Keep him on the waiver wire no matter where he ends up.

Thu Dec 22 201108:18Fesenko drawing interest from Heat, Warriors
Kyrylo Fesenko is drawing interest from the Heat and Warriors.
Fesenko needed surgery on his knee back in September, and he was expected to miss "at least two months" when initially reported. Both Miami and Golden State could use help inside, but regardless of where Fesenko signs, he's firmly off the fantasy radar.

Sun Sep 11 201102:02Kyrylo Fesenko (knee) out at least 2-3 months
Kyrylo Fesenko will reportedly need surgery to repair a torn meniscus, an injury he suffered while playing for Ukraine on Friday.
He won't even have the surgery for a few weeks, allowing the swelling to subside and his damaged ligaments to heal. The early prognosis is that he'll miss "at least two months," but we'd be shocked if he made it back that quickly. The timing is awful for Fesenko, as he's currently an unrestricted free agent.

Fri Sep 9 201101:23Fesenko (knee) out at least two months
Kyrylo Fesenko will be out of action for at least two months due to a torn knee ligament, according to a report passed along to us by Jazz blog, SLC Dunk.
SLC Dunk does great work, but since we don't employ a Russian translator we have no idea who is passing the report to them. We're checking into a few other sources and we'll let you know what we find. Fez has no real shot at fantasy value in the Jazz's frontcourt logjam, but he has quietly surprised folks with his production in limited time.

Mon Jul 25 201107:28Fesenko closing in on deal with Ukranian team
Kyrylo Fesenko is close to terms with the Ukranian club Dnipro.
Fesenko is Ukranian, so it's very possible that a deal gets consummated rather quickly here. Even if he does hit the international talent pool, Fesenko won't be missed by fantasy owners as he averaged just 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds last season. He's currently buried behind Enes Kanter, Al Jefferson and Mehmet Okur at center with the Jazz.

Fesenko was originally diagnosed with a sprained thumb, but another round of testing confirmed the fracture. He's out for the season. Fesenko heads into free agency on a down note.

Wed Apr 6 201112:48Fesenko doubtful for Thursday
Kyrylo Fesenko (thumb) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Blazers.
Fesenko blew his chance to start by getting hurt in Monday's practice. Look for Derrick Favors to start again at power forward, kicking Paul Millsap to small forward.

Tue Apr 5 201114:15Fesenko looking unlikely against Lakers Tues.
Updating a previous item, coach Tyrone Corbin now believes that Kyrylo Fesenko (thumb) is out tonight against the Lakers.
Fesenko probably wasn't scheduled to make an appearance for your fantasy team tonight with 13 games on the schedule, but his injury further thins out an already depleted Jazz team.

Tue Apr 5 201113:38Fesenko injures himself at practice
Kyrylo Fesenko injured his right thumb during Monday's practice and is now a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
Fesenko may have actually started tonight to battle the Lakers' massive front line, but that's now in question. We should have some idea of what kind of lineup Tyrone Corbin will go with following shootaround.

Sat Apr 2 201101:48Fesenko starts at center for Jazz
Kyrylo Fesenko started at center for the Jazz on Friday and had four points, eight rebounds and two blocks in the loss.
If Fess sticks in the starting five, he might be worth a look in deeper leagues. Al Jefferson had 21 points and 10 boards in a start at power forward, while Paul Millsap added 16 points and five boards in a start at small forward tonight.

Fri Apr 1 201113:07Fesenko (headache) to start for Jazz on Fri.
Kyrylo Fesenko (headache) will return to action in a starting role on Friday -- he'll play center while Al Jefferson slides to PF.
Utah's roster is riddled with injuries, and they're facing the Lakers, which necessitates this move. We don't imagine that Fesenko will stick in the starting five for long, but owners in need of blocks and boards should keep an eye on him.

Mon Mar 28 201120:07Fesenko (headaches) out on Monday
Kyrylo Fesenko (headache) will not play on Monday against the Wizards.
Al Jefferson will get a few extra minutes, so long as he can keep himself from openly admonishing referees to the tune of double technical fouls.
