Ridnour (personal) returned to action Wednesday against the Knicks and posted four points, two rebounds, and one assist in 15 minutes of action.

Ridnour is averaging just 4.0 points and 2.2 assists per game and isn't getting enough time in the rotation. He should be left in the wire in most formats.

Ridnour missed his second consecutive game Monday, and his next chance to return will be at home against New York on Wednesday. While Ridnour does not currently have a prominent role on the team, the Magic are still under interim head coach James Borrego, and Ridnour's role may be subject to change once Orlando finds someone permanent to take the head coaching job.

Ridour's next chance to return will be Monday in Washington D.C, however since the game is on the road and is the second of a back-to-back, it's possible that Ridnour may not return until the team returns home Wednesday.

Ridnour is dealing with a minor right ankle injury and is considered questionable to play against Portland on Saturday, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Ridnour's ankle injury has gone unannounced up until this point and it may be that it's minor in nature and nothing that will hold him off the court. Regardless, Victor Oladipo and Elfrid Payton will likely absorb Ridnour's minutes if the veteran is ultimately deemed unfit Saturday.

Ridnour played six minutes Sunday against the Sixers after eight consecutive DNP-CDs.

Ridnour was a beneficiary of Elfrid Payton replacing Evan Fournier in the starting lineup and Willie Green (illness) out of commission. If the change sticks, Ridnour will play spot minutes as the lone backup point guard. If not, he'll toil on the bench.

Ridnour has been all but faded out of the rotation, playing once over the past seven games.

Ridnour is limited to garbage time, playing a total of 32 minutes over the past 11 games, interspersed with seven DNP-CDs. The return of Victor Oladipo accelerated the decline in minutes and games played.

Ridnour played season-highs of 29 and 25 minutes over the past two contests, forcing rookie Elfrid Payton to the bench in both second halves. A non-factor in most fantasy circles, the Oladipo news creates uncertainty for Ridnour's role moving forward.

Ridnour usually tags into the game when Payton catches a breather. He's someone most fantasy leagues can disregard for his limited role and inadequate production across the board.

Ridnour returned from his quad injury for the season opener Tuesday, playing 17 minutes off the bench for the Magic against the Pelicans.

Those minutes weren't particularly effective, as he went 0-for-3 from the floor. Ridnour also added just two rebounds, and scored his only two points from the foul line. However, it does look as if he'll begin to play on a regular basis given his minutes Tuesday.

The timing certainly isn't ideal for Ridnour, with the Magic's regular season opener just days away, but it doesn't sound like the 33-year-old is in danger of missing much, if any, additional action. If he were to sit next Tuesday against the Pelicans, it would likely mean a spike in playing time for Evan Fournier.

This move will help offset losing Jameer Nelson, but the Magic are clearly going into a rebuilding mode. Elfrid Payton's minutes should be safe and Ridnour will likely see time in the low 20s this season.

Luke Ridnour started for Kemba Walker (groin) and had 12 points, eight assists, a block and two 3-pointers on 4-of-8 shooting on Saturday.

He's not worth starting in most leagues, but the Bobcats may continue to use him in hopes that Walker's groin is good to go by the start of the playoffs.

Kemba Walker was suddenly questionable today and he missed this game, which was his first game out of the lineup since Feb. 1. The Bobcats get the dream matchup against the Sixers on Saturday, so Ridnour could be a plug-and-play option for fantasy owners.

Luke Ridnour will start in place of Kemba Walker (groin) vs. the Celtics on Friday.

He's been the backup to Kemba since joining the team after the trade deadline. Ridnour's numbers with the Bobcats are not great, making 35.0 percent from the field for 3.1 points per game in 13.3 minutes. He's a risky option in fantasy leagues with 13 games tonight.

Luke Ridnour and Jannero Pargo are expected to share point guard duties in Friday's game against the Celtics.

Kemba Walker (groin) is on the bad side of a questionable tag. The rotation is unknown right now because the last time Walker was out, Ramon Sessions was still a Bobcat. We're guessing that Ridnour will start and share time pretty evenly with Pargo, making both low-upside streamers.
