C Tyson Chandler scored 22 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in Thursday's 118-103 loss in Cleveland. Chandler missed the last game with stomach problems.

F LeBron James scored 21 points, matched his season high with 15 assists and grabbed nine rebounds in Thursday's 118-103 victory over Phoenix. "Coming off our road trip, we weren't playing Cavalier basketball and getting the ball moving, popping from one side to another," James said. "It was just good to get back to playing the way we've been playing for most of the season." James earlier Thursday became the fifth player in NBA history to be named to at least 13 All-Star teams.

F Kevin Love missed Thursday's 118-103 victory over Phoenix with a sore back. Love was considered a game-time decision after he missed the second half of Monday's blowout loss to the Golden State Warriors. He didn't believe he'd miss any time, but he didn't participate in contact drills during Wednesday's practice and then couldn't make it through Thursday's morning shootaround. The Cavaliers aren't yet concerned about Love, believing rest is all he needs. It's the fifth game Love has missed this season and he would seem to be questionable for Saturday's big home game against the San Antonio Spurs.

F Carmelo Anthony set a Knicks record for points in a quarter when he poured in 25 in the second quarter Thursday against Washington.Anthony missed a jumper with 18 seconds to go that would have tied the score. Anthony finished with 34 points and 10 rebounds in the Knicks' loss.

G Courtney Lee had a look in front of the Washington bench with 6.3 seconds left that could have tied the game at 113, but he said he heard Wizards assistant coach Sidney Lowe, who he thought was a player, yelling something at him just a few feet away. Distracted, Lee passed up the shot that led to the Jennings turnover. "I'm thinking it's a player," Lee said. "He (Lowe) was on the court behind me, yelling, 'I'm right here, I'm right here. I got your help. I should have taken the shot anyway."

F Dirk Nowitzki scored a team-high 19 points Thursday in the Mavericks' loss at Miami. Nowitzki, 38, who averaged over 20 points in 12 straight seasons, is scoring at a 13.3 clip. It's his lowest average since his rookie season in 1998-99.

C Andrew Bogut (hamstring) missed his fourth consecutive game Thursday.

G Jamal Crawford must provide more production with PG Chris Paul and F Blake Griffin out, Clippers coach Doc Rivers said. Crawford was averaging 11.6 points per game entering Thursday's contest, his lowest output since the 2002-03 season when he scored 10.7 points in his third NBA season with the Bulls. He scored seven points Thursday. "We've got to get him going again. He's been struggling," Rivers said.

G Goran Dragic did a bit of everything, scoring a game-high 32 points to lead Miami to a 99-95 victory over Dallas on Thursday. Dragic took over in the second half. He had just 10 points at the break but scored 11 in both the third and fourth quarters.Dragic shot 11 of 15 from the floor, including 4 of 4 on 3-pointers. He committed just one turnover and made 6 of 10 free throws.

C Joakim Noah (sore left ankle) did not play Thursday against Washington.

C Pau Gasol suffered a broken finger on his left hand during warmups on Thursday before the Spurs-Nuggets games. X-rays taken at the AT&T Center showed a fracture of his left fourth metacarpal.In his first year with the Spurs, Gasol is averaging 11.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

SF Rudy Gay suffered a full rupture of the left Achilles' tendon, an MRI exam performed Thursday confirmed. Gay will miss the rest of the season, and it is unclear if or when he will be able to return to action. The Sacramento Kings also announced that Gay will have surgery to repair the tendon in the near future, although they did not specify a date. Gay sustained the injury during the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers. The 30-year-old Gay is averaging 18.7 points and 6.3 rebounds in 30 games this season, all as a starter.

PF PF David West suffered a non-displaced fracture of his left thumb in the game. The Warriors announced he will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

G Russell Westbrook posted his league-leading 21st triple-double of the season. He totaled 27 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists, but he also was harassed into 8-for-23 shooting and 10 turnovers."It was big," Westbrook noted of the turnovers, the sixth double-figure total of his career and third during a triple-double performance. "They scored off of pretty much all of them. That's what they do."Westbrook had 16 of his points in the first half, during which the Thunder led by as many as seven.He also drew a flagrant foul on Golden State center Zaza Pachulia in the final minute of the half, producing the two free throws that created the halftime tie.Afterward, Westbrook insisted the collision, during which he was hit twice in the face, was not forgotten."He hit me kind of hard," he claimed. "I'm going to get (him) back. Straight up."I don't play like that. I'm going to get (him) back. Whenever that is, I don't know when it's going to be. But I don't play that game."Westbrook clinched the triple-double with his 10th assist in the seventh minute of the third quarter.
