Mon Jan 30 201215:25Lakers worked out Morris Peterson
The Lakers worked out free agent G/F Morris Peterson several days ago, sources tell Yahoo.
The Lakers have been linked to Gilbert Arenas, Ramon Sessions and now Peterson. Expect them to upgrade their guard position in some way, shape or form by the March 15 trade deadline. However, it's unlikely that Peterson would be an upgrade after falling out of the league at age 34.

Thu Jul 14 201114:44Peterson says he's not retiring
Morris Peterson said he does not want to retire.
Peterson, who turns 34 in August, appeared in four games for the Thunder last season before being traded to Charlotte. He never got on the floor as a Bobcat and his contract is now expired. Peterson can undoubtedly still shoot the ball, but we doubt he can still move at the NBA level.

The Bobcats intend to waive Morris Peterson and Sean Marks.
Neither player figured to get much burn for Charlotte anyway, and this would allow them to re-sign one of the players they recently released-- Derrick Brown, Dominic McGuire or Sherron Collins.

Thu Feb 24 201119:01Morris Peterson traded to the Bobcats
Morris Peterson was a part of the trade that sent Nazr Mohammed to the Thunder.
Peterson should be a reserve for the Bobcats, though we expect Gerald Henderson to steal most of his Thunder...bad pun partially intended.
Fri Jun 25 201000:08Mo-Pete traded to Thunder
Morris Peterson has been traded to the Thunder in a draft-day deal that saw the Hornets draft Cole Aldrich, and then trade him to the Thunder for draft picks.
Mo-Pete's career is winding down and we don't expect him to do much in the OKC. Ignore him on draft day.
