Tue Jul 25 202319:29Adolis Garcia Back In Action
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (hand) is back in right field and is hitting cleanup on Tuesday against the Houston Astros and right-hander J.P. France. Garcia was hit by a pitch on his right hand on Saturday and missed two games as a result, but he's back in there on Tuesday for the first-place Rangers and fantasy managers. You will want to get him back into starting lineups in all fantasy leagues, as Garcia has been a consistent producer all year with a .260/.335/.512 slash line, .847 OPS, 24 home runs, 22 doubles, a league-leading 80 RBI, six stolen bases and 74 runs scored in 98 games. The 30-year-old Cuban slugger has been quiet with the lumber of late, though, going 3-for-20 (.150) with no homers, two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in his last seven games.

Mon Jul 24 202316:40Adolis Garcia Remains Out Of The Lineup
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (hand) remains out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Houston Astros. The 30-year-old slugger was hit by a pitch on the hand during Saturday's game. He sat out of Sunday's contest as a precaution and will miss this game as well. It sounds like a day-to-day issue, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect Garcia to land on the injured list. Josh H. Smith will cover left field and bat ninth versus right-hander Brandon Bielak.

Sat Jul 22 202321:25X-Rays Negative On Adolis Garcia's Hand
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (hand) exited Saturday's contest versus the Los Angeles Dodgers after getting nailed in the right hand by a pitch. Fortunately, X-Rays were negative, although that doesn't mean he'll be available for the series finale on Sunday. Garcia, who went hitless in one at-bat on Saturday, should be considered day-to-day.

Sat Jul 22 202318:15Adolis Garcia Exits Early On Saturday
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (hand) was forced to exit early during Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Garcia took a 98-mph pitch to the right hand and exited the game shortly after that. The assumption is that Garcia was pulled as a precaution, but the Rangers are likely to do further testing. Hopefully, this is only a day-to-day issue, but fantasy managers will have to wait until later for another update on his status.

Fri Jul 21 202316:10Adolis Garcia Returns Friday
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (wrist) is back in the starting lineup on Friday and is hitting cleanup while starting in right field against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers and right-hander Tony Gonsolin. Garcia was hit by a pitch on his wrist on Wednesday and was removed from the game, but he's ready to go after an off day on Thursday. Fantasy managers need to get him right back into their fantasy lineups. The 30-year-old All-star currently leads the league with 80 RBI, and he's also slashing .259/.330/.511 with an .841 OPS, 24 home runs, 21 doubles, six stolen bases and 73 runs scored in 96 games over 418 trips to the plate. Hitting in the heart of Texas' potent lineup, Garcia has been clutch for fantasy managers in 2023.

Wed Jul 19 202318:28X-Rays Negative On Adolis Garcia
Updating a previous report, X-rays came back negative on Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (forearm) on Wednesday after he was forced to leave the game early in the eighth after being hit by a pitch on his arm. The team is considering him day-to-day. Garcia went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in the contest before leaving early, dropping his season average to .259. Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief, and with the Rangers having an off day to travel on Thursday, there's a good chance the 30-year-old All-Star will be back in action for the start of a series on Friday against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers. Garcia is having another fine season in 2023 and entered the day leading the league with 80 RBI in 95 games. He also has a .262 average (73-for-367) with 24 bombs, 21 doubles, six stolen bases and 73 runs scored.

Thu Jul 13 202321:14Adolis Garcia Looks To Maintain Explosive Year
The Texas Rangers and right fielder Adolis Garcia begin their campaign's second half on Friday for a three-game series with the Cleveland Guardians. The 30-year-old earned his second career All-Star nod in the first half, hitting .261 with an .848 OPS, 23 home runs, an MLB-high 75 RBI, and six stolen bases across 348 at-bats. Garcia hasn't experienced the same success in his career against Cleveland, though, batting .191 with a .517 OPS, one RBI, and two swipes over 11 games (42 ABs) versus the Guardians since 2021. It's not enough to displace the dynamic slugger from season-long fantasy lineups, though, as Garcia has enjoyed a whopping 20 multi-RBI efforts in 2023.

Wed Jul 5 202319:38Adolis Garcia Joins Home Run Derby
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia will be the final entrant into the 2023 All-Star Home Run Derby. He'll join Pete Alonso, Julio Rodriguez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Luis Robert Jr., Randy Arozarena, Mookie Betts and Adley Rutschman in Seattle later this month. The 30-year-old slugger has blasted 21 home runs this season to go along with a league-leading 69 RBI through 83 games. Garcia is on pace for a career-high in homers this season, so nobody should sleep on him in this competition.

Sat Jun 24 202301:07Adolis Garcia Cranks 10th Inning Homer To Lead Texas To Victory Friday
On Friday, Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia delivered a two-run home run off relief pitcher Michael King, pushing the Rangers to a 4-2 victory over the New York Yankees. Following a dry spell from late May to early June, the 30-year-old has hit two home runs in the last three games, showing a resurgence in his power at the plate. Fantasy managers could start to see an offensive surge from Garcia as he has eight hits, two dingers, and five RBI in his last 27 trips to the plate.

Wed Jun 7 202318:21Adolis Garcia Gets Breather
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia is absent from the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. This appears to be a routine rest day for the veteran outfielder. He has been reliable this season, slashing .273/.331/.515 with 15 home runs and 52 RBI in 58 games this season. Robbie Grossman will cover right field and bat seventh versus right-hander Jack Flaherty. Fantasy managers should expect Garcia to be back in the lineup after this game.

Wed May 24 202316:31Adolis Garcia Reaches Once, Scores A Run
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia went 1-for-5 with a single and a run scored in a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. Garcia picked up a single in the first inning and scored on a fielder's choice in that same frame. It was one of Texas' three runs in the opening frame, which proved to be enough in the low-scoring affair. The 30-year-old slugger has reached base safely in 17-of-21 games in May and leads MLB with 49 RBI. He's slashing a solid .254/.320/.530 with 14 home runs, 49 RBI, and three stolen bases over 181 at-bats on the year. He's a big reason why the Rangers are currently in first place in the tough AL West.

Mon May 15 202303:25Adolis Garcia Continues Explosive Year With Grand Slam
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia went 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs, and five RBI in a blowout win over the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. The 30-year-old's grand slam capped off an eight-run Rangers eruption during the eighth inning. Garcia already has nine multi-RBI games this year, now leading the majors with 42 total RBI. The slugger has streaky tendencies, evidenced by his season-high hitting streak lasting just four games. Garcia's hard-hit rate of 53.2% before Sunday's contest, however, lends itself to these massive lines occasionally. The former all-star is a key component of the Texas lineup as their everyday cleanup man, and Garcia's RBI upside will only amplify once Corey Seager returns to action.

Sun Apr 23 202300:11Adolis Garcia Has A Big Game On Saturday
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia had a big game in the win over the Athletics. He went 5-for-5, finishing with eight RBI and five runs, courtesy of three homers and two doubles. The 30-year-old is now hitting .260 in 2023. He also has 28 RBI, with 14 occurring in the last four games. Garcia has an excellent chance to keep things going on Sunday versus Kyle Muller, with the lefty allowing 13 hits and six runs in his previous start versus the Chicago Cubs.

Mon Apr 17 202317:37Adolis Garcia On The Bench Monday
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia will start Monday's game on the bench against the Kansas City Royals. It will be his first game off of the year after making 15 straight starts for the Rangers. The 30-year-old could use a mental day, as he's hitting just .200 (12-for-60) with a double and 16 strikeouts through the first 15 games, but he also has three home runs, 14 RBI and a stolen base in 65 plate appearances. He has especially struggled of late, so fantasy managers will be hoping he can bounce back after a reset. With Garcia out, Travis Jankowski is starting in right field and batting second against Royals right-hander Jordan Lyles. It's a nice lineup position, but Jankowski offers very little to fantasy managers besides some speed.

Tue Mar 14 202316:45Adolis Garcia Raking In Cactus League Action
Texas Rangers outfielderAdolis Garciais enjoying a big spring to this point as he looks to build on a productive 2022 campaign. The 30-year-old has clubbed two home runs while hitting .261 alongside a 1.187 OPS across 25 at-bats this spring. He's added five runs and six RBI to his ledger as he prepares himself for everyday reps in right field for the Rangers this season. Garcia burst onto the scene with 31 HR with 16 stolen bases as a 28-year-old rookie in 2021 and followed that up with 27 HR and 25 SB across 156 games a season ago. Garcia sports an elevated strikeout rate, but his power and speed combination makes him an attractive fantasy asset once again, as a 30/30 season is certainly within reach in the 2023 campaign.

Sat Sep 24 202211:05X-Rays Come Back Negative On Adolis Garcia
Initial X-rays on Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia's wrist looked OK, according to interim manager Tony Beasley. The team will re-evaluate Garcia on Saturday after he was forced from Friday's game early against the Cleveland Guardians after taking a 100 mph cutter off his wrist. As of right now, the 29-year-old seems to be fine and should be considered day-to-day, but you shouldn't be surprised if he's not in Saturday's starting lineup. Garcia has been a must-start in fantasy this year, slashing .253/.304/.458 with 25 home runs, 95 RBI, 83 runs scored and 25 stolen bases in 566 at-bats for the Rangers. He hasn't been as strong in September, though, going just 16-for-70 (.229) with four homers, 15 RBI, 11 runs scored and three steals in 20 games.

Tue Sep 13 202223:15Adolis Garcia Has Huge Night
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia was one of several players to have huge offensive outputs in this 8-7 victory over the Oakland Athletics, going 2-for-2 with a home run, a double, two walks, three RBI, and two runs scored. He also stole a base. Garcia now has 25 homers and 24 steals on the year. Garcia has been red-hot in his last five games, with six of his seven hits in 17 at-bats going for extra-base hits. While there will be peaks and valleys to his production, the power-speed upside remains extremely valuable to fantasy managers.

Sat Sep 10 202218:29Adolis Garcia Back In Rangers Lineup Saturday
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (back) is back in the starting lineup Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays after missing Friday's game with a sore back. He will be the designated hitter and bat fourth in the lineup, so the Rangers appear to be easing him back in. Although he's been a major contributor all season, the 29-year-old has been ice cold to start September. He is slashing just .080/.080/.240, but has managed a homer and a steal. Still, the five-category star should be back in daily fantasy lineups tonight as he can put up big numbers at any time.

Fri Sep 9 202216:47Adolis Garcia Out With Back Injury
Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia (back) landed awkwardly on his lower back recently while trying to make a catch on defense and is out of the starting lineup on Friday against the Toronto Blue Jays as a result. His back is sore, but he should return to the lineup on Saturday. Fantasy managers need to act accordingly and remove Garcia from their daily lineups on Friday. The 29-year-old, who has hit the 20-20 milestone already this year, should be considered day-to-day. Rookie Bubba Thompson is manning right field on Friday and will hit ninth against Blue Jays right-hander Ross Stripling. Thompson has held his own in his first 30 major league games, going 26-for-94 (.277) with a homer, seven RBI, 10 runs and 10 stolen bases, but he won't have a ton of DFS upside in the nine-hole.
