Tue Nov 4 201418:34Elmore outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Monday
Elmore was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
A quad issue, suffered late in spring training, ended up costing Elmore more than two months of the season, but he went on to post a decent .281/.376/.345 batting line with 12 steals in 16 attempts in 72 games at the Triple-A level. The Reds brought him up in September, but he played in just five games and clearly isn't a factor in their future plans. While Elmore has decent speed and is a pretty versatile defender, he has no real power to speak of and at this point, his upside as a Quad-A player seems fairly well established.
