Thu Jan 20 201104:36Jordan Danks invited to spring training
The White Sox invited minor league prospect Jordan Danks to spring training.
The team's outfielders aren't budging, and newly acquired Adam Dunn is expected to fill the DH slot. Danks' 2010 totals for Triple-A Charlotte included a .245 batting average and a whopping 151 strikeouts. But he has decent speed and is regarded as one of the organization's top defensive outfielders. If he does make the team, Danks likely will be no more than a late-inning pinch-hitter or defensive replacement for the coming season.
