Nick Hagadone pitched a scoreless ninth inning for his first career save Monday in the first game of the doubleheader against the White Sox.

Rather than turn to Chris Perez or Vinnie Pestano then, the Indians went to their young left-hander, and it worked out fine. Hagadone walked Alejandro De Aza with two outs, but he retired three of the four hitters he faced. He's allowed just one run in 8 1/3 innings during his two stints with the Indians this season.
